techo Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 We had a little work group tournament today. The water temp is about 73 degrees. It was a blustery day! I think there were about twelve boats. Most people only caught one keeper. One boat caught three keepers, and the best boat brought a ringer, Snowden, and cleaned up with big bass and five keepers. I can't tell you what and where everyone else fished, but we used the Eakins jig. We tried the spinners, the fish doctors, the jighead with grub tail, crank baits, and some drop shots. Almost all of the fish came off of the Eakins jigs or a smilar jig. The fish we caught were around the twenty-eight feet area. We caught the shorts up in the Cape Fair area and the one keeper near Aunt's Creek. Hopefuly this weeken it ill be better! Tim Carpenter
