Roaring River Fishing Great Right Now

I fished about 2 hrs today, caught 22 trou, just up from the handicap dock in zone 2, caught most on beetles, caught some on a san juan worm and a few on a sow bug, the fish were very active, some I caught today were very colorful, nothing big but lots of nice 12 and 13 inchers.

That's doesn't look like a Missouri rainbow! Great colors but different from what we see around here, isn't it? Or maybe it's the light.

I noticed the fish I caught at Bennet the other day were colored up a lot more than normal-not THAT colored up though (that thang is purdy)

It was very colored up, it had the bright red slashes on the bottom of the jaw like a cutthroat, only more red, the pic really didn't do it justice, but I was amazed at the color, it really stood out in the hole.

Almost a shame that it stood out, I mean the only one to have colors like that. But if every trout looked like that, would this fish seem as beautiful?

Like TF indicated, I fished Bennett last weekend and a few of the fish we caught had a lot of color, mainly an enlarged bright red ban. They were all males well.

Went there today 10/27 dry fly's were working great in the afternoon, caught maybe 20 on top. Tim, I caught some of them rainbows like in your pic, very pretty, and big...
