Members BrowningFisherman Posted October 29, 2007 Members Posted October 29, 2007 Any tips for tomorrow at Montauk, I heard from a few guys that they are going to start releasing some of the brood stock to get ready for the winter season but I was just wondering if anyone had been recently and has any suggestions, I will probably fish the fly only section above the darn.
jdmidwest Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 No brood stock today, fished the park top to bottom and all I saw or caught was small ones, should have been held over till next year! Members jrbhc8 Posted November 1, 2007 Members Posted November 1, 2007 I've never fished Montauk in the winter, about how many of their brood stock do they put in the waters for catch and relase season? Also does anyone know if Maramec is going to have an brood stock in their stream this year? I haven't heard. Thanks, jrbhc8 www.troutchapters.com jrbhc8 ~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~ | <°)))>< | <°)))>< | | ¿ >°)))><
