C&r Opener Roaring River November 9th

Just an open invitation to anyone who will be at Roaing River November 9th for the opening of C&R season. There are several of us who meet the Friday morning of the opener for a get together and some hot biscuits and sausage gravy. Look us up at the end of Campground #3 and the begining of Zone 3 near the old dam. Breakfast should be ready at 7 AM. All you have to bring is your appetite!

Well I wasn't planning on it, but I will be there. I've been wanting to get back to RR for some time now. Plus I can take a much needed day off!!

Steve, I would be happy to bring anything to help. Just let me know.

Nope. We always have plenty to eat Ronnie. I usually bring a couple of dozen biscuits and a big pot of gravy. I make a "stick to your ribs" gravy... none of that canned watery stuff. A little goes a long ways. If you want to stick around for lunch, you might bring a dog or two and some buns, chips, or whatever. We won't run out.

Is a daily state park tag required? Steve, are you talking about meeting at the last parking area at the end of the fly only section?

I'll be there this year! I don't get off work till 8a and then it's about a 2 1/2 hour drive for me. I'll be there around lunch time. Sorry I can't make the breakfast, it sounds great.

Murdoc, The 10th is opening day of AR deer for rifle. I will be in Kingston, AR. that weekend and leave on that Friday. I guess I wont be able to make it. Sounds like fun, wish I could make it..
