Just a note to let you know we will have our December Dinner Meeting at the Covenent of Life Church, 120 N. 3rd (just behind Empire District Electric) at 7:00 p.m. on December 11, 2007. There will be a nominal cost of $5.00/person for dinner. Please e-mail or call either Fred Lauher flauher@aol.com 417-546-4508 or Carolyn Parker rvrrunoutf@aol.com 417-332-0460 by December 8 and let us know if you will be attending so we can have a head count on how much to prepare.

The next meeting of Branson Chapter of TU will be Feburary 23, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at the Hatchery.

Election time is here again. We are asking everyone to give this some thought and forward your nominations to Fred Lauher or Carolyn by February 1 so they can be forwarded to the membership before the February 23, 2008 meeting.

We need volunteers to help with the repair of the stairs at Outlet 2 at the Hatchery. MDC is providing all the materials, we just need to provide manpower. Hey guys...

Just heard from my pick to speak at our TU Christmas dinner on December 11. It will be Jim Johnson of Baldwin, MI.

He brings a double barrel of information about fishing the Pere Marquette River iin Michigan where he's been a guide for over 25 years now and former lodge and fly shop owner. He also owns and runs a lodge in SW Alaska on the Naenek River, 2 seasons now.

I will be fixing my famous smoked chicken, beans beans and potatoes so come hungry!!

7 pm at Covenant Life Church in old downtown Branson. If you can't afford the cover charge of $5, come as my guest!
