Chief Grey Bear Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 You two gotta date every Sunday thing going? I'm down there with my son just about weekend either on a Sat or Sun. Somethimes both. I would more than happy to hook up with you two and give a trout a two a severe case of soremouth. What time do you usually fish it? ollie Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 Most times I don't show up til around 9:00. Sundays are the only ones for me right now due to work. Getting closer to Christmas is even harder for me to accomplish anything. I'll post up if I go down there. Chief Grey Bear Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 I'll be looking forward to your psot. My brother-in-law came by last night and it looks like at this moment I'll be taking him there this Sunday about 1200 noon. I'm putting my money on him canceling though. but that is him. Buzz Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 This Sunday looks like it's going to be nasty. Now don't get me wrong, I can usually trout fish in just about any kind of weather but it might be tough just getting there if the foecast is accurate. I just wish it would snow instead of this freezing rain crap that we always seem to get. I'll wait and see what it looks like. If it's not too bad I might make it there. But I usually start much early than noon. I will start at the lower bridge and work my way up if I go at all. Look for the tan and black Ford pickup. Lord nows, I can't quite get that itch satisfied. Kyle If fishing was easy it would be called catching.

ollie Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 Count me out for this one. Too many things going on around here with Christmas and I'm thinking this one is going to be pretty crappy. Chief Grey Bear Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 Well, you guy's didn't miss much. The water is up just a little and from the Lazy Boy bridge on down is murky. No action to really speak of today. Fished for just over an hour for one strike. Did also see one bust the top for something. Buzz Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 I was afraid of that. But I was more afraid of what the roads would be like. We've got quite a bit of ice on the trees here. Can't tell about the roads I'll try them out later. It seems like the ground has enough warmth left that there isn't any ice build up. We'll have to try it when the forecast does'nt involve ice.
