timsfly
Caught a few nice fish today on beetles and griffiths gnats, there were a lot of fish caught on egg patterns, woolybuggers and woolyworms. I think I did best on cracklebacks and beetles. Here is a pic of a nice fish, I didn't take a very good pic, but the fish weighed in at 6lbs. http://s171.photobucket.com/albums/u294/ti...nt=PB300017.jpg Tim Homesley 23387 st. hwy 112 Cassville, Mo 65625 Roaring River State park Tim's Fly Shop www.missouritrout.com/timsflyshop
Paola Cat
Tim ... Must have been a good dry fly day all over! Fished BSSP C&R today. Caught lots of fish on #22 cream midges. Also, fishing was good on peach egg patterns when the fish weren't rising. Cheers. PC
timsfly
Good to hear Bennett is fishing well, I have had a lot of good days up there on small drys, and furbugs in white, peach and oregon cheese. How is the water up there, Roaring River is low and clear. Paola Cat
The water is low and gin clear but 5X/6X is still OK. There's tons of fish in the spring branch. Sounds like you guys got some big fish action going on. I'm tempted to come down and give'em a go. Cheers. PC
