Had this sent to me by Jerry Dudley, Fayetteville. It's his grandson, Colton. All I know it was caught on 12/22. Hoping for more details soon.

Yeh Phil, I saw the picture that day, it was caught in the first hole up by the hatchery, on a black/yellow jig, it was up towards the top of the pool, under a canopy of leaves, it sure is a nice fish, looks like 9lb or better. There are few in there like that right now, if we ever get some more rain and the spring rises, there will be a few more come out.

Jig... figures. Jerry Dudley is one, if not the best jig fishermen I know and he's a good teacher. They team up and fish one of my tournaments each winter and usually place.

I'm pretty sure that he's going to surpass all of us down here in Arkansas. He's already caught those of us in the family... he's pretty good at it and is now learning about those finicky Beaver Lake bass as well.

Hello there John. Hope all is well up in Kansas and that you had a blessed Christmas. Fishing any of the tournaments at Phils this year? We'll be there for all of them except the Team Tournament in March (I won't be there, but I'm sure that dad will be).
