Members Fishing Milwright Posted December 28, 2007 Members Posted December 28, 2007 There's an artical on the Arkansas Fishing Forum that says Table Rock is Turning over. We'll be down to Taney fishing Sat,Sun,Mon. If it is turning over will it change what's been catching fish and if so what fly patterns would be good to use. I noticed that Taney is at 701 and has been for a while. We are planning on floating with flyfishing pontoons from the boat ramp to Cooper Creek. How long will it take to float this trip at low water.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted December 28, 2007 Root Admin Posted December 28, 2007 a. Babler told me today that TR's temp is just now dropping below 50. I'd say next cold spell, it should turn, if not before. Change? None. We may see more generation though. Jan 1-2 it's supposed to be fairly cold and windy. b. 6 miles on flat water- it's going to take along time I'd say. I'd shorten the trip to Riverpointe Estate's ramp.
Members CoachK Posted December 31, 2007 Members Posted December 31, 2007 Sounds like Table Rock hasn't turned, does this mean that the oxygen level in Taneycomo is low?
davekeim Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 CoachK? Has to be some meaning behind it. How about a little more history. Signed, Cardiac Abdito! Another Beautiful Day In The Ozarks
Members CoachK Posted December 31, 2007 Members Posted December 31, 2007 I'm a coach. That's just what everybody calls me. I hope there is some insight to the activity of the fish and the type of fishing that may work over others if the O2 levels are down. Are the fish drawn to moving waters such as the mouth of a creek or the lower part of the islands?
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted December 31, 2007 Root Admin Posted December 31, 2007 Read my blog, Rob. I address the turn and how it affects fishing.
