Members Neilson Posted December 30, 2007 Members Posted December 30, 2007 Hey all, Been goin to Canada for the last 15 years, 3 generations....live in Kentucky, family is moving to Texas so we are looking at Ark for a central site to continue the Walleye tournaments. I hear Greers Ferry is awesome with the state record (nice catch!)and was wondering what the best time of year to hunt the wally. Is early spring the best? Are walleye plentiful year round? Give me a shout. Cya! Neilson
Trav Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 welcome, Bull Shoals Lake has some good walleye. "May success follow your every cast." - Trav P. Johnson
taxidermist Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 Actually it was the wWORLD RECORD that came from Greers Ferry, Al Higden I hhthink was or is his name. forgot the weight 22lbs something.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted January 11, 2008 Root Admin Posted January 11, 2008 Bull Shoals and Greer's Ferry are both good walleye lakes. So is Stockton Lake and there are some in Table Rock. I'd have to say mid to lower Bull Shoals would be the best, although I don't know much about Greer's Ferry.
