Members doctorbrady Posted February 7, 2006 Members Posted February 7, 2006 Michael, You dog. I went by the shop on Sunday and saw your truck and a couple of others. I wondered where you had went to torment fish. It seems that the Arkansas (in Oklahoma) is getting more Missouri flyfisherman than locals (a lot of states mentioned in that sentence ) I am glad that you guys had such a good trip. Hopefully, I can get back up there soon when the water is right. I 'll get by and see the pics soon.

Okieflyfisher53 Posted February 8, 2006 Author Posted February 8, 2006 It is on the west side of Tulsa Michael, Nice pictures! I noticed that the flow rate was around 8000 CFS yesterday. When they shut the water off the fishing should be great. Dan, the section of the river that we were fishing is in town. The buildings that you see in the background are in downtown Tulsa. Steve

Okieflyfisher53 Posted February 8, 2006 Author Posted February 8, 2006 Thanks guys, I may have to check that out one of these days. Any fly tips??? Dano Dano, Clouser minnows have been working well. I have been tying mine on #1 and #2 saltwater hooks. Gray and white has been working best, followed by olive and white and blue and white. Other flies that I have caught them on are deceivers, blondes, bunkers, and sheep shad. Steve
Danoinark Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 Steve Thanks for the info. Should I get over that way, I may have to pick your brain somemore if that's ok? Dano Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"
