Danoinark Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 This is probably the most comprehensive with a large data base of recipes and instruction. Dano http://www.flytyingforum.com/ Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"

soggyfeet Posted January 16, 2008 Author Posted January 16, 2008 thanks a bunch for those sites now do you fellows know if there are any that sell tying materials or am i stuck useing the stupid bass pro and cabelas stores since there are not any fly shops around me that i know of Brian
Members FLYFISHINMAN Posted January 16, 2008 Members Posted January 16, 2008 Sounds like you may be from the St. Louis area. If so, there are two good places that have all the materials you would ever need. Both are on Manchester Rd. Feather Craft is just east of Brentwood and T. Hargrove is just west of Brentwood. Bass Pro does have pine squirrel strips and marabou. Also jig heads in sizes you would need. Hope this helps.
Members SteveP Posted January 16, 2008 Members Posted January 16, 2008 Ditto on the www.taneycomotrout.com and check out his forum also it has some really good patterns on it and all are well described and photographed in step-by-step format. The link to his board directly is http://p068.ezboard.com/btrouttalk check it out. Steve

I bought most of my stuff there... and there are always people there to help. I live at 95th and Antioch so I try to stop by as often as I can.
