Best fishin off the bank

Hey, we live down here in Lampe, just south of Kimberling City. My kids like to fish off the bank. Can you catch anything bank fishing right now, and if so what and how?

In about another month you will be able to catch some good white bass off the banks up the James river near Galena. Lots of good bank fishing then for kids and adults.

86 bridge over Kings River Arm is another good place for Whites and may be good for some W-eyes, but a little slow for kids.

There's a road that takes off to the east/south from Blue Eye and ends up in Long Creek- actually Bushy- that's great crappie fishing in April. Also, another road takes you into Ark to Long Creek- the road crosses Yoccum Creek- there's bank fishing there for whites and crappie.
