Great concert! My favorite Skynyrd song is "Things Goin' On", especially the acoustic version from their "Endangered Species" disc. Steve
Members KRflyfisher Posted February 9, 2006 Members Posted February 9, 2006 I am probably not the fan that some are but Freebird, live version especialy, is one of the greatest rock 'n roll songs ever. Can't make the concert, but man what a show it will be.
retroaction man Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 (((((((((( PLAY FREEBIRD )))))))) sorry i had to do it
Ealy Posted February 11, 2006 Posted February 11, 2006 (((((((((( PLAY FREEBIRD )))))))) sorry i had to do it "The Ballad of Curtis Lowe" would have to be my favorite Skynard tune. A more obscure Skynard song "The Walls of Rayford" is another great one.
Guest flyfishBDS Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 First heard skynlard lying on this beach , winters night 1980, no people around, lying on back on the sand looking up at the Southern Cross. Early sanyo portable Stero cassette player. purloined beers Freebird Made an impression Think I might have to go Cheers Steve
Members Lucky Fly Posted February 14, 2006 Members Posted February 14, 2006 Skynard is one of my all time favorites. Jimmy Buffet would be a close second. Those are my fly tying music. I will have to go. Where is the welk theater, and how do I get tickets? Steve "Trout Don't Live In Ugly Places"
