Flysmallie Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 Just checked the weather report. Snow Flurries and Wind for Saturday!! I LOVE fishing foul weather. Should make for a great day. Watch out for me though, spent my whole life chasing bass in a big boat, can't cast a fly all that well. I'm gonna hook something, don't let it be you. Flysmallie

Members SGFChief Posted February 9, 2006 Members Posted February 9, 2006 Looking forward to the weather myself, it seems the more miserable the weather the better the fish bite. Not to mention the part in the waders below the water line is at a balmy 40 some degrees. Sounds reasonable to me... Also can you imagine how those baldies around the dam will look with a bit a snow blowing around? Bring your camera.

Watch it now....I am one of them baldies....but I will let you take my picture....bring dollar bills Dano Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"

loo10 Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 Some of the COOLEST photos I ever took at Taney was when it was snowing. Especially of you're holding up a 20 incher. motroutbum Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 You are getting excited with flurries? man when i was in colorado a couple weeks ago it was dumping snow at 2 in per hour. and i fished all day in it. here ya go.... There are two types of people. Those who dream dreams and wish, then there are the do'ers. I am a do'er!
CaptainT16 Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 Nice pic Bum! I would have to agree, snow and wind have made for my best trout days. I went 3 years ago during a snow storm and I have never caught so many trout before. It was a day I will never forget. I was glad to get home and get into the hot shower though! Well with the weather we have had lately I don't have much to get excited about! And now it looks like the flurries are off as well. Clouds and wind.....not real fond of wind. But I will venture out anyway. Unless there is another incident like last night. Two year old, projectile vomiting, 3am. Parenting is great! See you guys on the water.
Danoinark Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 I wonder if the snowflakes hitting the water makes those pea brains think there is this giant hatch happening? Dano Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"
