My mother-in-law called last night and asked, if we would like to spend 2007 Christmas in Hawaii. My wife said yes, before she even asked. Darn the luck. I dislike sand, large groups of people and spending money, so is there any fly fishing to be done there? Just kidding on the dislikes, except one, sand. I haven't had a chance yet to google information, so if anyone has any experience with this, please let me know. Thanks in advance. Christmas this year has come early. Russ

I don't have the ingredients at hand, I just go to the store and get them. So, after the next trip, I will write it down, and post later. Finally made another round of chili 2 lbs ground beef 1 lb of sausage (any brand of choice) 2 - 1.25 oz. McCormick seasoning (mild, spicey, or extra spicey) 2 - 16 oz Light Red Kidney Beans 2 - 26 oz jars of Sams Choice Southwest Black Beans & White Corn Salsa Brown the ground beef and sausage, drain any grease. Then add the rest of the ingredients. Simmer until done. Easy as 1 2 3.

Hey Phil, how about you starting a Polar Bear Club in Branson. You know, the ding-a-lings that go swimmming during the frosty part of the year. The Big Hole would be a great place to do this. What do you think? You can go first of course.

I saw him. While someone was panning in on a small herd of wildebeest, they pulled the shot to where you could barely see them at the top of the screen. About that time the bottom half of the wheels of a vehichle could be seen driving by. The wildebeest started torward the vehichle. Do you think that some of the animals are used to people, like they are at the Springfield drive thru safari. Fed by the tourist so to speak. -
I sent one out today as well. ADEQ really needs to here from people. Besides, it is tax dollars that are paying their salaries. Let more than your hard earned money be heard. If you don't know about this, there are numerous threads on John Wilsons forum as well as some here.

Well, with 2 inches of sleet and ice on the ground, they are calling for 8-12 inches of snow this evening and into the night. Winter has difinitely announced itself. It sure is pretty to watch, but at the same time, it can sure do some damage. I hope everyone stays safe, and uses their better judgement. It's time to eat a bowl of chili and read the American Angler that came in today.

I would look at it like this: Finals = Grade = potential good paying job. Fishing = great time = but wondering if I should have stayed at home studying. That would be the parent in me talking. Now, what I would have done. I would go fishing and don't worry about studying, but worry about how I was going to tell my parents why I didn't do well on the tests.
