I'll be down Saturday morning sometime. Took off Monday too. Should be a good weekend. It may be a little windy but oh well.

Who is going. Weather looks like it's going to be decent. I may have to go wet a line before the March 1st opener?

Jerry, I was down a couple weeks ago. Fished a dark olive midge with copper bead and wire. Did OK. I tied on a usual and put a size 26 sparkle wing midge emerger behind it and did pretty good. I caught a 2.5-3lb rainbow one day. The park was pretty crowded with the good weather. You may be better off on a Friday. Have a good one.

People it's your responsibility to know the rules before going afield. If there is gray area I think I would be on the phone trying to figure it out. In dealing with any type of law enforcement if you are prepared and know the reqs you have a legit argument. If you don't know for sure then be prepared to have issues. The old saying is "know before you go". On one hand people complain about lack of enforcement and the other they claim about being hassled. I would really like to see some of you people try to do the job they do. It's a thankless job. But a necessary one. If you feel you are being hassled all the time then it may be time for you to look in the mirror and ask if its you that is the problem.

I'm going fishing on my way home from AR. It's killing me so I'm leaving here tomorrow morning about 5:30am. It's on the way home after all. LOL

Hah Hah!! You guys are funny. The only thing ill be able to tell you about is 7 days a week and 10 hours a day. Rain every other day and sometimes days in a row. I'm beat. As soon as this dam job is done ill be down fishing if it isn't over with by then.

Well. The weather looks favorable, that's for sure. I'd be willing to bet that it will get pretty crowded if the sun is shining. I know I would be there if I wasn't stuck on this dam job in AR. (No pun intended) Looks like another couple weeks down here for me.

Surely that can't be Wayne. He is just an honest business man. In order to stay in the position he is in for as long as he has, there has to be some underhanded dealings going on. Something needs to change and not for putting more money in his pockets.

You summed it up pretty well wrench. All of the so-called improvements to the park have been things that put more money in his pocket. Fish cleaning station comes to mind. Can't have that. Gotta build more cabins because one burned down. Stuff like that is what people feel he is responsible for. Rules be darned.

The fella that made them passed away a couple years ago. He put a smile on many people's faces.
