  4. Looking for a used cuda 12 to buy, possibly something else but trying to upgrade my ascend fs128t into a better quality tournament/river boat. Lemme know if anybody has a boat they are looking to sell. Thanks
  5. Put in around 1 fished until 330 ish, nasty stinking upstream wind. Caught 1 smallmouth and 4 k's or lm, didn't pay much attention. Best fish 12 in or so threw a tube, jerkbait, and ned all fish came to mr. Ned. Probably the clearest i have ever seen shoal. Nice day nice float maybe some size next time.
  6. Awesome thanks Chief
  7. Thinking i will have to get a yak out tomorrow and I haven't been allen to lime kiln in 5+ years. Has anyone been on this stretch in last 6 months or so? Just dont want any major obstacles to mess with in 45 degree water. Thanks
  8. Thanks for all the ideas everyone, just confirms my thoughts, I need to float tomorrow to break my fever followed by an all nighter at the vice or three.
  9. Thanks lancer, i have a 6 and 7 wt ill be chucking, what is your go to between the craw and the sculpin? I have fallen in love with the taney sculpin for trout everywhere i go, but use a lot of crawdad soft plastics for bronze. What are those craws in the bottom left amery, they look like a goldmine?
  10. I have done a limited amount of fly fishing for smallmouth, but always end up throwing the spinning reel before long. So i guess im curious as to what are a few effective patterns I should put in my box if I want to get serious about brownies with my fly rod? Also, techniques, gear, ah hell how do you do it in general? Thanks for anything!
  11. I run a 25 jet on a 1640 flat bottom rps, and i run until i find out what too shallow is . Thanks amery, hope we can make something happen sometime.
  12. O ya ollie, i know what is in that creek. I have yet to break 18 there but sat afternoon i hooked up with what we will call a "very" solid fish One that trythisonemv saw im pretty sure, but as usual i saw him eat and broke him off promptly. i have been skunked the last 3 times down which although im not a great fisherman, is starting to make me question my having fly rods! Jk but wrench i think its probably stocked the same i have just hit it at all the wrong times. By the way what are they doing above the dam? Cleaning out the lake?
  13. First of all there aren't any monsters in the park, trust me it was probably wishful thinking;). Secondly, is it just me or has this year been terrible on capps? I haven't fished it as many times this year as I normally do but it gas truly kicked my butt this year, not even seeing the fish in between that i typically do. Does it seem tougher than normal to the rest of you?
  14. Am i correct that you cant run a boat above 62 bridge? Also how is the white bass run? I typically fish spring river in OK for whites but the bridge under 10 hwy can be a zoo.
  15. Just curious how the tailwater fishes below 62 out of a boat? Can you effectively drift fish it with a fly rod similar to the White or LRR? I have fished the upper areas a few times and have started to hate that tailwater, mostly because it kicks my a$$.I want to love this river (55 min away) but it is not very cooperative. Thanks

Stay in the water you should be fine. That area is pretty hard hit but wade up or down and you will catch all you care to. I assume you are talking warmer weather? Good luck.
  17. Jackson not ws my bad currently on a wildy.
  18. Im looking at getting another yak to take my 4 yr old boy on occasionally, the wife when she doesn't want to paddle, and solo occasionally. I like the concept of the Big Tuna, but im wondering if anyone has been on one. I primarily float elk, sugar, indian, shoal but hit tailwaters from time to time. Anybody have experience with the tuna?

  23. Good luck at old e.... It should be an access to put in/take out but last time I pulled out there I had friendly words with the landowner while a cop sat and watched. Not a fun situation at the end of a float for obvious reasons I did the better part of telling him to kiss my a** he did the better part of being a horses a**. I was very respectful at the beginning and our truck was on the road not on his land. I will continue to use it but..... U may meet a new friend if you do.
  24. Thanks I put it together to keep then I ended up with a jet drive which is better for how I fish. I would keep both but I'm gearing up for an elk hunt in a few weeks and the wife says sell one so its gotta go.
