  2. I love looking at the pictures. Let's me know what im missing while im at work. Jealous is all. Nice job.
  3. Maybe he is upset about KU losing in the NCAA tournament. On top of that Joel Embiid and Andrew Wiggins declared for the draft. Tough week for a Jayhawk fan. I could only hope for some success as a Razorback fan. Lol
  4. It's so nice driving by those people who have to stop and fill out envelope and pay. Kinda feel like a V.I.P.rolling through the check in and pointing to your pass. Lol
  5. Congrats on 20 yrs. Champ. I am having 16 yr Anniversary during this Bass event. She was nice enough to let me marshal. I love that woman. Lol
  6. I get what you are saying. I drew a guy on Arkansas River event that was from Texas. He is fishing Okie division because championship is on Sam Rayburn. His idea of success is catching one keeper per tourney to qualify for Championship. He pre fished half a day and that was it. Between running 25 min to the lock,30 min in the lock and running way up Kerr for 45 more minutes. Not a lot of time to fish before we had to head back and do it all again. We both caught one keeper. Only thing I learned was to never run that far for fish if you aren't certain a good limit is waiting for you. Next year I'm gonna be a boater. I have had enough of being a co angler.
  7. Champ. You not fishing Okie division this year?
  8. I doubt I can stay at Bill's place for under $100 a night. He is probably booked up anyway. I hear his place is awesome.
  9. Sorry I misspelled the title. I can't edit for some reason. If there is a moderator on here you are welcome to change it. Thank you
  10. Cmon Fat Boy. We need pics of some of these fish. I haven't caught that much so at least I could enjoy looking at your pics. Lol
  11. Gonna be a Marshal for Table Rock event. Looking for a nice place to stay the night and would rather stay in a more quaint place than a hotel if they are close in price. Staying Wed and Thurs. night. Any suggestions? Thanks as always.
  12. If its a good deal that's a different deal.
  13. The only time people use them around here is when they park their boats on the bank to go weigh in their fish. I would think an hds12 would get a lot more use out of that money. That being said. They look awesome.
  14. Get better Champ. Thought you were retired? I guess I assumed because you live in Bella Vista. Lol
  15. If that was the case I would do a lot better at Beaver. Lol
  16. I agree Champ. It's gonna be about adjustments and finding fish. The field will be tight I think. Might come down to the last day.
  17. Funny how people label "Highland Reservoirs" to all fish a like.
  18. Did really well in white river last weekend. Can't go wrong with river and creek arms. I hear many people say they are no fish in Aunt's creek. Should probably stay away.:-)
  19. Orange belly. My bad. Getting my lure company names mixed up.
  20. Do you have my address Danger or do I need to resend?
  21. I am a generation in between the younger and older generation of fisherman. I understand both points of view as far as like ability goes. I get the younger guys who like the flat bill hats, cool shoes, pimped out trucks and boats. I like some of that stuff myself. I think with Palanuik, it kind of has that Tiger Woods feel to it. BASS is shoving him down our throats constantly. It's not really Palaniks fault, but he seems highly over exposed. As for the older guys liking the older fishermen. I'm sure it's revisionist history that fuels their like for these guys. They are the old guard to the past. They aren't flashy just good ole boys who like to fish and respect the sport. People like Mark Davis who is a heavy set guy, no longer exist in this sport because companies want good looking, charismatic guys who are in shape to represent their product. I picked up fishing about 6 years ago and there is a noticeable difference between now and just 6 yrs ago as to how the sport is covered. Being 40 yrs old I see both sides of this issue. Just seems like the sport is becoming more about products and less about actually fishing.
  22. Just bought a 6ft 10 cranking rod from Denali. Using a Abu Garcia Winch with a 5:4:1 ratio. So far I love it. Greg Bohannan is coming out with a wiggle wart rod from Denali in the near future. I will have one of those too.
  23. do you live in arkansas?
  24. I have seen a few on Craigslist.
  25. The name is green tomatoe. My bad. The rod in the picture is a Skeet Reese S-glass cranking rod. Very flimsy. Not the greatest quality though.
