I'm new to this site, but have been very impressed with the posts from various members. The majority of the members appear to be great fisherman and good quality people willing to share their experiences. The post on cutting up 50 lbs of Bass is very troubling. The lake is starting to come back after the fish kill of 99, but has a long way to go, and with people filleting 5lb LM & SM makes absolutely no sense to me. There are plenty of whitebass, rockbass, crappie, and gills for a fish fry. If you must eat a bass, the 15 inch kentuckys are much better eating than big bass. If you get the urge to fillet a trophy bass, give me a call, and I will deliver panfish fillets to your front door.
