    Went to main lake fished for crappie in the brush piles, caught about 15 shorts had 3 keeper. Water stained 18 in.Vib. temp.81. Fished from 6am to 11am. Went up lindley dirty maybe 5in.Vib. I put 10 keepers in by 2pm. Had 12 shorts. Caught on 1/16 oz. Road runner. Black and blue. Main lake 9 to 20ft. Up lindley 12ft. And less.

    We catch them at pomme and truman most of the time,and there usually they are good size.

    It's been a while sense I've been on Springfield lake. I would like to go and my boat is to big. I would take you to Fellows lake and you take me to Springfield lake. Maybe we could both learn a new trick or two. Thanks, Darrin

    6/6/10 fished show me Crappie tournament. We caught 19 keepers. Most of them on hedge trees 8 to 13 ft.1/8 road runner. Fished up little sac.11:30 it was like you turned the switch off,ran to sons and fished brush piles. A few more shorts and 3 or 4 keepers. It was a fun day on the water just like to see more people fishing it. It was our first show me tournament, great group and didn't care to tell you how they caught there fish. Plan on fishing the pomme tournaments if Iam not working. Our 7 best 5.65 our big 1.03.

    TRY A STICK BAIT WITH LOTS OF FLASH AND KEEP IT MOVING.IT'S SOMETHING THEY DON'T SEE.

    Lots of flash and maybe 1 to 4 sec. Pause. Iam also using a suspending bait. The majority if the fish where on flats with deep water close.

    I've caught a little muskie the last three times I've been to Fellows. All you have to do throw a stick bait and try to catch bass. That stick bait you don't want to lose and they will hit it every time, like a mega bass. Had a lot of fun catching shorts out in front of brush with it. Lot of fish following to the boat.

    5/29/10 went around 10am to 5pm. Caught 25 shorts and 4 good keepers 4lbs, the other three where in the 3lb class. The keepers all came on big rock with lay down on jig&pig. The shorts where all in front of brush. Back of cove did the best. Sinko and stick bait. One muskie 24in. Just a great day to be on the water and not at work.

    Took the wife, put in at mutton creek ran to sons. Water stained maybe 18in.65deg. Lots of Crappie bits couldn't get hooked up, the ones I did get a hook in where good ones. 2 walleye shorts, 4 lb. Bass all on 1/8oz. Roadrunner. Brush pile on creek swing. 8 to 14 ft. Went back to mutton all the way to back and bass fished,they just picked my jig trailer up and ran.1/2 oz. Jig zoom chunk the bits came out in front of brush. 9ft. And less.

    Well Bill Y. How did you do? Muskie or those gay bass? With all the info. you got you should have loaded the boat since you didn't get any info. at the pomme form.

    I have fished it for 13 year the most of the muskie I've Caught came from the south side, the three big coves On the south. Most while fishing for gay bass on a jig & pig, from 12in to over 40in. Seen a few bigger ones chasing my jig. A few guys I know troll the grass beds for them. Main thing is have fun in joy the day and don't kiss any Gay bass.

    I have the humminbird,you have to really watch it for brush piles. The newer the pile the easier to see. As the wood absorbs the water it becomes the same density, you look at the shadow it put out.

    Was at old state park.Crappie tournament 14lbs 10 fish won. We had 12lbs took 2ed. We could only get bit in strained water 8ft and less. Creek Chanel swings on brush. Jig 1/8oz. only cought bass on minows.

    I was there from 10 to 12:30 to day. I had 10 in the 12 to 14 in. range. Came on points half way back with rock.all on pig&jigs. One muskie about 12in. on a stick bait. Did see some Crappie being caught at pump in cove.

    Went to day caught about 75 to 100 between two of us.10 keepers couldn't find big fish. Main lake top Water,stick bait,jigs,sink o's,worms. Water temp 60 back of cove with pea mix with big rock. Tournament we where in 19 lb's won. Purcell tire. Maybe 60 boats 10 lb's to get check.

    Went to pomme today 4pm to dark. Cough my limit of Crappie. Brush piles 8 to 12 ft. Water 63 stained my be 2 ft viz.
