  1. Do you guys catch any walleye up there? I really want to go up there one of these years and fish that
  2. Tecumseh is waaaaaaaaaaaay up the river. Its in MO. Go up 201 until you get to 160 then go right until you get to the lake.
  3. Out of the 35 bass, how many were at least 15 inches?
  4. I used to live about 3 minutes from Pigeon Creek! I now live in MO. BTW, the stripers up @ Tecumseh early in the morning (hint hint)
  5. Its not as good as the Rock IMO. There are good smallies on the lake but action can be spotty. You know how the brownies are, here today and gone tomorrow. Fish from Panther Bay to the dam. Now they otta be on sloping gravelly/chunk rock points from 10-30 ft deep. I have been catching them on Bull Shoals on those types of places. Thats about all I can help you with.
  6. I never fished Toledo. I fished Lake Medina near San Antone once. Would really like to go to Falcon
  7. Are you catching any Kentuckys? I cant find very many now
  8. Yeah I am catching alot of them too. There are alot of 10-12 inchers in the lake now. Keepers are harder to come by or at least for me.
  9. I think I read here that the James River arm is muddy. It otta be really good up there. Flip the bushes in Peach Orchard and Bear Creek. I havent fished the Rock in several years but I bet that would work. Anyway it used to
  10. Champ, The best bite now is in the Lead Hill area on up. Fish the back ends of the creeks with a lizard w/ a 1/2 oz Fla rig. Flip the bushes and sawdust (hint hint)
  11. Donnie, If you will give me about a weeks notice, I can take you about any Saturday. You can even come down on Friday night and spend the night with us if you wish. Better hurry. I dont fish much during the hot part of the Summer.
  12. In that case better get the big stick out. I wish we had that color over here on Bull
  13. I had around 19-20 lbs on Bull today flipping bushes. They were in the back ends of creek arms in 0to 3 ft of water. Not sure if this info will do any good on the Rock but if there's bushes in the water I dont see why not especially in the Cape Fair area
  14. Are there any bushes in the water over there? If so that's where the fish are (hint hint)
  15. To me the Lead Hill area should be part of the upper end along with Tucker Hollow but anyway I guess that's beside the point. Had a very good day today. Had 7 keepers with the best 5 going around 19-20 lbs. Wish I would have entered the tournament out of Pontiac!!! Anyway I was flipping a lizard in the sawdust and bushes in the back ends of creeks. All fish were 0 to 3 ft deep. I was using a 6 inch YUM lizard green pumpkin color on a 1/2 oz Florida rig set up and a 5/0 hook. How's that for information? Since I dont fish tournaments anymore I will share some info. I might start back up next year thouogh coz I am getting my old urge back like I used to. The water is high and rising (I assume its still rising anyway) and the fish are up shallow. This is the type of fish I was catching today

I'm waiting for it to dry up so I can plant my corn. Weeds are about to take over where my corn will grow.

How many of you all grow gardens? I enjoy gardening "almost" as much as fishing here is my garden so far. I'll keep this thread updated as time goes on. This year I am only growing the Yukon Gold taters. They are our favorites and are doing very well. Here are garden peas and lettuce Brocoli and cabbage Here are my maters. Still small but just now starting to grow. I am taking Train's advice and growing the Amish Paste this year! I'm sure he will be proud of me hehe. Other maters include: KBX (bet you never would have guessed that!), Cherokee Chocolate, Ark Traveler, Sioux, Earl's Faux, Black from Tula, Russian 117. I have 53 mater plants this year.
  21. Are there any walleye up there? I would like to go up there this Summer.
