    The fly pictured above is 1) a crayfish pattern and 2) has some good sized lead eyes. I bet the only thing it does on the surface is splash as it passes through!

    Butler shoots 30% as a team and they win a huge upset by a large margin. They shoot 18.8% and lose by 12. I was really pulling for them but didn't have enough body english while sitting in my chair to get any of their shots to fall.

    I have been wanting to get into some carp action myself. Thanks for sharing. Since he pulled you so far down stream its a good thing you didn't start on the carp earlier or it might have turned a two day into a one day float.

    Really? You are so thin skinned that after Nathanael posts asking if you had a trophy fish on a stringer and asks if you have ever heard of catch and release and I, after posting "Welcome aboard and thanks for sharing. You guys caught some nice fish!", replied to Nathanael that he saw correctly, you did have a trophy fish on a stringer - and nothing more - that you call us both (you did use the plural form) a foul name?

    ...and now I know the rrrrrrest of the story. Good job, very well written. Now can you see why it seems like some fly fisherman are snobs? It's not that they are snobs its that the bait fisherman haven't had the epiphany that you have now had.

    Whats the finish of the ATR and barrel length? Do you know the model or specs on the scope?
