I love mine and I have the medium size. It works great, and its not heavy. As to accuracy, I really don't care. I'd lie about the length anyway.....

Most, if not all of the land along the White outside of the public (AGFC) accesses are private, unless I am missing one. There may be some camping hiking opportunities near Sylamore but I really don't think there are.

I have cast the Lil Streamer but not fished with one. They are specifically designed for "shooting line" on small streams. The theory is that the more guides on the rod and in this case typically double the amount of guides with at least two large stripping guides causes less friction between the line and rod thereby allowing you to shoot line with minimal effort.
Bob Brunsell came up with his concept while fishing the small streams in Wisconsin.
I have Bob's personal nymph shooter he built in a 9 ft configuration, It has 18 guides including the tip. And as Dave said there is no finer rod company to do business with as far as customer service is concerned. I give Dorber an A-plus.

I knew Ronnie would bite on that....
It gets no better than smallies on the fly. And Eric some of the same techniques used for catching trout on the fly apply.

Welcome CS
First thing to remember is that Fly Fishing is not as mysterious as you would think.
Anytime you are headed down to Taneycomo give me a shout and I would be happy to meet up with you and see if I can add to what you already know.

From what I understand that if you had a 5 on the flex index it would be a true mid flex. So a 7.5 would be a little faster rod than say the 5 flex on the index scale. Anything lower that 5 would be even slower than the 5 flex. Hope this makes a bit of sense....Dano
Welcome back Bill. Can't wait to hook up one of these days and renew old times and wet some line.
Also Bill is a wealth of knowledge on fishing the salt and the bays of West Florida. I bet if you ask he will give you all the tips you need if you are traveling that way. He is also a cane aficionado.
