Going off topic a little here, but what is your favorite terrestrial? What I'm reading for my "edu-me-cation" says to use ant's around trees and hopper's around grass. Do I need to wait until late summer for the the hoppers?

My main purpose for finding one is to help me figure out what to tie on the vise, and a little education for me. Actually, I all I fished with last year while I was learning was nymphs. So I'm trying to get out of my comfort zone with the drys.

I received this email. It is poorly written, but I believe "sunset" means the bill will remove a conservation funding source. I'm not a MO resident so I don't have a vote, but my opinion is eliminating this tax would be a bad thing. Missouri Stream Team Watershed Coalition Advocacy Alert Representative John Cauthorn just introduced HJR 22 to sunset the Design for Conservation Sales Tax. The Conservation Sales Tax is 1/8 of 1% of every taxable sale. For every $8 spent on taxable items, one penny goes to conservation efforts managed by the Missouri Department of Conservation. This bill proposes a constitutional amendment submitting the conservation sales and use tax for reauthorization in 2012 and every ten years thereafter. If passed this could have significant negative effects on the Stream Team Program and conservation efforts of our water resources. Normally, the test is if you live in the state "and" pay state income tax.

Its standard procedures at Bennett, but you wouldn't catch me out there.

I just checked again, and its back on. Maybe its on from bell to bell.

That sucks.

Last year my god father fell in at Bennett. The guy next to him helped him get upright and asked if he was alright. Then without messing a beat, he asked my god father, "did you see anything good down there". What a classic line.

My wife and I will be in the Livingston area the first week in August. Have two trips planned...one on a spring creek and one a float on the Yellowstone.

I just noticed this morning that the trout cam is now video instead of stills. I'm watching guys pulling in fish. SWEET.
