  1. With the exception of Mr. Young and Flysmallie, all the packages were mailed Monday or Tuesday. Let me know when they arrive.
  2. Your right, but I don't keep the extras. I randomly hand them out. Again, I just don't get down into the ozarks as much as I need to use all the ones I tie.
  3. Done...
  4. Thanks... Bowing down...
  5. Flysmallie... I went through everything and it appears I did not get your package. What happened is I mixed you up with another OAF member, thus the request for your address and this mess. However, with that said, this is 100% my fault. By dumb luck did you have any tracking on it? You absolutely should not have to (unless you want) to make up another batch of flies. So here is what I recommend: 1. I'll send you my set flies and keep any doubles. I'm not worried about it, because I enjoy the tying and communication as much as anything. 2. If you want you can send me a couple to try out and add to the recipe page. If you don't, I can just use your photo. 3. When I'm out your way or the other way around, I'll buy you lunch, a beer, or both. 4. Apologize profusely and humble myself in your online presence. 5. Beg for your forgiveness and the chance to make it up to you next winter. FS... All kidding aside, I'm really sorry for this screw up. I try to make the winter swaps as enjoyable as possible, and I failed this year. Call me if you need to. Finally... lesson learned for everyone and specifically me: Make sure you put your OAF name on your package to the swap master...and...your return envelope.
  6. Standby... let me go through my notes when I get off work. I'll go through my notes, and I'll post an update.
  7. Flysmallie... We might have a problem. I didn't have anyflies that looked like that. Call me today or tomorrow before 8:00pm 618-334-7479 and lets see if we can figure out what happened. Mike (aca MIC)
  8. Sorry guys... will Mr. Young send me an address. My bad smallie
  9. Gents... All boxed up and ready to go out Monday or Tuesday. The trout guys will notice a lot more flies than planned. I tie more than I can ever fish so I cleaned out a little. Enjoy or toss, you won't hurt my feelings. Flysmallie... I could not read your address. I need you to send it to me.
  10. I'm to far northeast of you to take you up on your offer.... but welcome to the forum. Stick around long enough and you'll be fishing with OAF members.
  11. Thanks... one bad thing about starting a new job is a whole new bunch of new bugs. I think I'm the fourth or fifth in my area to get it.
  12. Gents... I've been down and out with a nasty head cold and a few days behind. My sincerest apologies. I'll get them out as soon as possible. Shooting for Monday. PS... I hope one of you guys was able to enjoy this weather. Vr, MIC Again apologies...

  22. Here is a pic... it is a scan, not great but will work. SKMBT_C65414022611560.pdf
  23. I think I'm going to tie some up for the winter fly swap before I send packages out. I think you could use them for pond water also.
  24. I looked online, but can't find a pic anywhere. Tim can you post a pic of the ones you use?
  25. Not really. This is traditional streamer with fuzzy body and a tensil/wire banding. The marabou is used for a wing (tied in the front of the fly on at the feather base) instead of bucktail. The author recommends blood marabou, but only the thin or fine straight feathers where we would use the fuzzy ones. I assume the straight feather help it act more like a wing.
