  1. Hi, We are getting ready to plan a couple of fall fishing trips. More than likely one in October and one in November near the Kimberling C ity area. We would love to find and participate in any type of Buddy Bass or Benefit style Bass Tournaments. We would be able to plan our trips around any scheduled events. Any help would be appreciated.
  2. We heading down for the weekend (Nov 2-5.) Probably fishing the mid lake area. Any suggestions, and will the lake turning over hurt the bite? Thanks in advance for any info.
  3. I have a group of friends that come to Table Rock in the fall. we are looking for some buddy bass or charity tournaments to enter. Hopefully $200 or less per boat or angler. Any suggestions...
  4. HI, We are headed down to Table Rock for the weekend, and plan on fishing as much as possible on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Looking at the weather and wondering how the fish are going to react to the cold front. Any suggestion are appreciated. We spend most of our time in the mid lake area (Aunts, Mill, Fisher, Schooner, Cow, Indian.)
  5. I know they have a tow boat docked at Port of Kimberling. Probably have another docked at the state park... I think it is 800-4-SEATOW http://tablerocklake.seatow.com/
  6. 4 lb 3.5oz. Yes the scale went to the half oz. Biggest of the weekend. Caught it on a 3/8ths Football Jig. Made it the night before while watching the Cardinals win... Casted it shallow, and the fish hit really really hard. Caught it in about 5 foot of water behind point 7. Onlt had 3 keepers all weekend. But the lake turned off on usafter the two storm fronts. Caught a bunch of 8 inch smallies to fill the time spent on the water. 20mph winds kept us off the good spots. Wanting to come back down the 2nd weekend of November. We will be fishing the mid lake again. I love any tips that come my way... MIKE
  7. Fishing has been slow. Fished a total of 10 hrs since Saturday morning. 7 short fish and then I landed a 4.4lb smally this afternoon. He was shallow and had a rubbed tail...?
  8. Look at Cabelas Bargin Cave. I was on there yesterday and they had some highly discounted rods... A couple of great rods for under a hundred dollars...
  9. Thanks for all of the good info. Counting down the hours until we are on the water... Hopefully the weather holds out. Ill try to post some picks this weekend if we get into anything worthy of positing...
  10. NICE, thanks for the info. were you trying to keep the bait up, or slow rolling the bottom...?
  11. Thanks for the info... We usally come down a couple times in the spring and then again in the fall. We really spend most of our time in Fisher, West Fisher, Schooner, Mill, and Cow Creeks. Wasn't sure what pattern the bass are in right now. I was hoping these cooler night temps would bring them in shallow, but I guess thats a ways off. Its just nice to get some feedback... We have had some luck in that area over the last 2 years. Can;t wait to get beack down there... MIKE
  12. I'm headed down to Table Rock this weekend. Going to spend a lot of time on the lake fishing. Mostly Kimberling City, but might make some runs to Indian Point and Cape Fair (and can stop anywhere in between.) Just wondering if there were any leads to the best part of the lake and best baits to fish. We usally work PBJ Football jigs, wiggle warts, grubs, spooks, etc... Any info helps.

  18. Has anybody been fising the mid lake area. Fisher Creek, Schooner Creek, Cow Creek, Mill Creek. Just wondering how deep they are. Are they staging out on the points, or have they started to move back into the creeks. Are there any reports of TRL slime or alge problems... Also looking to rent a boat slip in the Kimberling City Area. Had a place at Kimberling Inn, but cant stay there for a while... Thanks
  19. Thanks for the info. We plan on putting in at Ahoy's and fishing the gravel point just past the ramp Wednesday night. We have had some good numbers night fishing that spot, but nothing bigger than 2lbs. I will try and update as we go along...
  20. HI, Every spring we make a trip (or two) to Kimberling City and do some bass fishing. We mainly stay in (fisher, w. fisher, schooner, and the cow creeks) but are not limited to an area. We will go further if it is worth it. I have read some fishing reports and watched Pete's fishing report @ http://www.hookedonbass.com/FISHREPORT.htm We typically fish Wiggle Warts, PBJ Flash football jigs with green craw trailers, smithwick and BPS rouge baits, and the occasional salt and pepper grub. We are coming down on Wednesday night 4/6 and plan to fish 6 to 8 hours a day until Sunday 4/10. We are amateurs and would love any info you guys have to offer to make this trip one to remember. Any help with location, depth, other baits, ect... THANKS, MIKE
