Hammer time

Wow, other than first and last hour of daylight and night fishing, I find my quality fish in 12-25 fow. Other than the spawning season when the big girls get shallow.

Never sold one, give them away to my fishing buddies.

I make all my jigs and trim every weed guard. Here is a 1/2fb jig I use at night.

You could try fishing with proven big fish baits. A jig and spinnerbait are probably the best two.

Not really, on swings 10-15 fow. Pre-spawn females. Caught em last hour of daylight. The chunks I'm referring to.

Put in at Mutton at 10:30 and concentrated on spawning pockets and secondary points. Strong south wind so started with crankbait but with all the rock snot hard to to bang bottom without getting slimmed. Caught 8 with 4 keeps but got tired of constantly fighting the snot. Switched to c-rig lizard and caught bunches but mostly bucks and post spawn females. Went dam area and found 67 degree water and changed to jig and caught some quality blacks, 4 nice chunks and several shorts. Had 2 nice eyes over 19 inches both on c- rig lizard in umberland. Tight lines and CPR

I wish our state had a program like Texas, if you catch a bass over 13 and give them the fish for breeding stock they give you a free replica mount. Granted that's Florida strain bass and our program should be at the 9pound level in our state with our northern strain bass.

Night fishing is probably the best odds to catch the big girl, I've read tons of fishing books and all authors agree that almost all huge fish feed exclusively at night. All of my biggest 5 bass were caught at night on blade or jig.

10 pounds plus, wow now that is awesome on any lake in the country! Congrats! You the man! And now a member of the 10 pound club! Very few members. Beautiful bass!

Dprice, while looking at the pics you want to change there should either be a bar below on screen that are options or a options button depending on your phone. Play around with those and you should be able to crop, inhance color and rotate. along with many other things. Took me awhile to figure them out on my iPhone. Hope this helps. Would love to see some other pics of the big girl!

Put in at Mutton with my son at 7 and started crappie fishing caught 4 between us one keeper and one keeper eye. All on mainlake points, with 1/8oz red head and crystal shad jig. Switched over to bass at 10 and caught 8 between us with no keeps on c-rig lizard and baby brush hog in spawning pockets 8-15 fow.Loaded up at 1. Tuff day fishing but still had fun on the water with my son! Tight lines and CPR

Second wave of crappie are getting ready. Hopefully you hooked em on Truman.

Put in at Mutton at 9:30 and started bass fishing in spawning pockets with c-rig lizard, caught 23 with 9 keeps. Still can't get any real quality, mainly bucks. Fished deeper today kept boat in 30plus fow but still caught a lot of bucks. Had 1 keeper eye eat the lizard. Swiched over to crappie last 2 hours and found a few pods suspended in 8-12 over 25 fow on points leading into spawning pockets. Ended with 13 keeps only 2shorts a keeper eye, several white bass, largemouth, brownies and a big drum. Water temperature was 59.4-62.8. Had a blast, hardly anyone fishing the area I was fishing. Stayed between monkey island and point 5 area. Tight lines and CPR

Bo I'm not in to politics but seems we have always been in debt except for a short time during Clinton administration. Standing up for democracy is why we are in debt. In what other country can your hook up go fish lake fork then go 1000 islands in New York then pheasant hunt in South Dakota? Nowhere! I love this country!!
