  1. Love that smile Donna, tells it all!
  2. Nice fishing! Thanks for the report, water temps in areas fished?
  3. Short trip but a good one! Put in at 10am temp at ramp 57.9 and 59.7 was the warmest I seen. Fished from ramp to Bridgeport and back. Stayed on channel and swings. Active fish I found where in 6-18fow. Caught em on mag wart rc and blade. Ended up with 18 and 7 keeps. 14 blacks and 4 spots and one slab crappie ate the rc. Cb's had to be banging and paused, basically crawled bait on bottom pausing after contact. Blade fish were on bottom also slow rolling big 1/2 oz blue herring tandem willow war eagle with big swim bait trailer. Great water color and very notable current had fish set up perfectly. Loaded up at 4:30. CPR and tight lines!
  4. Nice job!
  5. Great fishing! Thanks for reporting, and pics!
  6. Thanks for your report! Even with the slow fishing, beats sitting at home wondering if there're biting!
  7. You can bank fish at Aldrich or at CC. Both spots can be good. My neighbor is boat less and has been fishing both areas for years with good success on whites, crappie and an occasional walleye. Good luck!
  8. Planning on fishing the dam area, point 5 to point 2 area next week and was curious if that area is still choked up with all the green slime, or as my buddies call it, muck and mire. Thanks for any feedback.?
  9. I completely understand, you could put in at Mutton and motor up the river, it's not that far and a pleasant ride. Zarraspook and I made that run yesterday and seen a huge group of those big white Pelicans. They are huge beautiful birds. Just be careful, with the lake down so much it can be tricky if you're not familiar with the channel.
  10. Sorry to learn about those fellows that died during a storm. I will always find shelter or simply hit the bank and get off the water if lighting is in the area. If there is no lightning, some of my best days have come on nasty rainy windy days! I remember one time about 15 years ago my buddy Joe and I were pounding em during a rain and lightning moved in. I put the boat on the bank in Chicken Rock, we stayed on the bank huddled together for over a hour until lightning move through. The rain let up a little, we resumed fishing and it was phenomenal fishing the rest of the day, Glory trip!
  11. Should be fantastic fishing this weekend, low pressure moving in with rain, equals HAMMERTIME! Good luck Red shad
  12. Pm Phil Lilley and he can explain it to you.
  13. I personally don't ever fish the so called "ned" rig. Have to hand to those that do, it seems to work! I rather fish a fish doctor on a c-rig or Texas rigged green pumpkin finesse worm if times are that tuff. Every year of late, reading more and more of and about the little do nothing ned rig. Just not the way I want to fish for them. Not knocking anyone who does, just not for me.
  14. Very nice, thanks for the report and pic!
  15. You bet, nothing better than being out on the lake regardless how the fish cooperate!
  16. Met with OA member Zaraspook at 7:30 to 50.8 water temp at ramp. Went up Big sac and worked back to ramp. Was a tuff bite for us, ended up with 9 all blacks and no keeps. Had to finesse the few we caught, junebug finesse worm on channel banks. Had a great time anyways, as it was the second time we fished together. Zaraspook has a ton of knowledge and experience, so for me, just fun picking his brain and enjoying the day together! Loaded up at 1pm. CPR and tight lines!
  17. Not sure Straw, they maybe widened it a foot tops, but my trailer doesn't fall off ramp launching and loading so I figured that they added some. I may be wrong.
  18. They have added on to the ramp and refurbished the courtesy dock and paved a new walkway down to dock. So it's fine to put in there. CC or Greenfield ramp both the same, I've always called it CC.
  19. Interested in two of the 100BSV reels. Your bottom dollar on two?
  20. Take a hundred bucks, Obo on these original warts, six total in great shape but not new. Thanks. ps. Bottom one is a suspending wart and top one was professionally painted with the paint wearing off.
  21. Very interesting and annoying I'm sure. Only response I have is try replacing line. I've been a Shimano guy forever and have never had that problem. Sorry to learn of your problems!
  22. Unbelievable!?
  23. I get my sports fix from ESPN and sports center. I'm chilling Champ, guess I'll have to get used to all the "banter" as you put it on the Table Rock forum.
  24. Thanks for your detailed report and congrats on some great fishing and results!
  25. Put in at 10 after storms went through. Fishing was fantastic! Water temps 52.8-57.1 where I fished. Fished up to mouth of Turn Back and down just a little past Shaw bluff. Stayed on channel or very close all day. Caught em on crawdad color cb's, Texas rigged green pumpkin red finesse worm, bladed jig and jig. Fish were feeding, ended up with 37 and 11 keepers, mostly in 6-20fow. Was the type day that they just slammed the bait and tried taking your rod out of your hands! CPR and tight lines!
