  1. Good luck tonight, should be good night after fullmoon last night. Please post your results. Tight lines!
  2. Fish were in 15- 25 fow lots of post spawn fish but we caught several pre spawn fish full of eggs and bloody tails
  3. Put in at 7:30 slight north breeze and 68.78 water temp. Had my son today with me. We started on main lake points with pop r and chug bug only 1 but a keeper. Moved to mile long bridge area and hit bluffs and bluff ends with homemade green pumpkin and brown/purple 1/2oz football jigs with 5in twin tale trailers. Caught most fish in 15 to 25 fow. Ended up with 26 and 10 keeps between us and my son caught a toad. Great day with my son, he's a awesome fisherman. Loaded up at 5. Tight lines.
  4. Reading all this negativity makes me wanna just stop posting and enjoying nature and all its beauty as I have always done before I joined this!
  5. Imo nothing compares to a jig at night. Crawdads are mostly dormant all day and get out and feed at night. Bass are looking for craws after dark for a easy meal. Throw a jig and you'll see huge results!
  6. I had my 20ft bass boat cleaned and buffed from the rub rail down which took them 10 hours to do and was only charged for 5. Looked brand new when I got it back first week of April and still looks awesome. I fish 3 to 5 days a week.
  7. I would love to see a state wide 17in minimum on all bass. Think of the quality fishing we would have!
  8. I can't wait to see the video and pics, so I can see how it's done!
  9. Tom and his guys do awesome work at Championship Marine
  10. Put in at 9am 69.23 water temp, and a slight breeze. Started on channel banks with deep little n and caught a few shorts mostly brownies. Went to bluffs and channel swings around mile long bridge using 1/2 oz brown/purple football jig with 5in smoke/purple twin tail grub. Fish where there and eating! Caught over 40 fish all blacks, mostly in 15-20 fow, they had jig deep in their mouth. Caught several on the initial fall or first pump. Ended up with 14 keeps. Great day on the water until the downpour came. Fished in the rain for 45 minutes without a bite. Loaded up at 6:15 Tight lines
  11. Awesome fish, congrats and great job tricking that big girl! You have accomplished what many anglers dream of, a 8 plus. Thanks for the post and picks, you are the man!
  12. Not so sure with water temps soaring, I think majority of quality fish will be channel oreinted or on deep points close to channel. Imo
  13. Nice pics and thanks for the report.
  14. Put in at 7 and was shocked water temp 77.12 pleasure boats and jet skis buzzing around everywhere. Decided to head to point 5 area to avoid traffic a maybe find some cooler water. Started on main lake points temp 75.70 with football jig not a sniff for first hour, I knew It was gonna be tuff. Hit a old reliable point last half hour of daylight a caught 3 short brownies and 1 keeper after a long dry spell, was just happy to get bit. Switched over to black purple 1/2 oz fb jig with black 5in twin tail grub and motored to point 1 area for night bite. Wind completely died, hit mainlake channel banks not a bite. Switched to deep mainlake pockets and finally got bit short brownie but got some confidence. Ended up boating 5 more with 3 keeps on same pattern and loaded up at midnight. The Rock can be a tuff nut to crack sometimes but I love the challenge. Tight lines.
  15. Couldn't resist beautiful evening, sorry pic got flipped
  16. Nice chunk, got lot of wobble heads but have yet to get bit probably because I don't fish it long enough and go back to jig. Need to see it work before I'll have any confidence
  17. Put in at 2:30 to a strong south wind and 69.30 water temp. Started with deep little n on wind blown channel banks and swings. Caught 8 all shorts mostly spots and a few brownies. Changed to main lake points in 12 to 20 fow and still shorts. Clouds moved out and wind died down so decided to fish in 20-30 fow and started catching some keeps. Ended up with 14 more and 5 keeps all on homemade 1/2oz brown purple football jig with 5in zoom green pumpkin twin tail grub. Loaded up at dark. Tight lines.

  22. Great report and pics
  23. No debris and good water color
  24. Put in at Mill creek at 9am. Concentrated on main lake pea gravel points. Had a great day caught a ton of fish mostly spots. One keeper largie and even a beautiful mean mouth.
