  1. It's like a beauty parlor where all the old hens are yappin about nothing anyone outside the room would care about.
  2. Very nice, those will catch fish where I go.
  3. That's a shame, sorry to hear about this.
  4. Congrats on the new arrival. Glad to hear that everything turned out well. Answered prayers.
  5. A c-section isn't bad, our first was an emergency c after 20 hours of labor. The next 2 were scheduled c's. Wife and kids did fine all 3 times. Only advice I'll give on this, enjoy the time your little one comes then hand off to the nurse. No matter how brave your wife is, she will need your help and you will need your rest.
  6. Sorry to hear about the shufflers. But can you or will you share more about this experimental fly?
  7. Ouch! Sorry to hear about your misfortune. As in the post before, the Launch is hard to beat.
  8. Amazing pic, I would recommend a bath of cool to warm water to melt some of the ice. Best bet would be to plan a trip to the carribean to let it melt off.
  9. We're thawing out, still over 500,000 customers without power, which is about 1.2 million people. They are saying 10 days or more, and the forcast is for 4 to 7 inches of snow this weekend.
  10. It's a mess down here in OKC. I live in a town out west of OKC and there are only about 8 streets with power, lucky for us we live on one. We have in-laws staying with us who don't have power. Trees are down everywhere, a co-worker had a large oak tree fall on her house and knocked it loose from the foundation, punctured the roof in many places and opened holes in the exterior walls.
  11. Very interesting, any comments on visibility in water? Is it more or less transparent than floro?
  12. I have both the Sage Launch and the TFO Pro. I use the Sage nearly 10 to 1 over the TFO. Both are good rods and you would be happy with either for a long time, but if it were me and the cost is a non issue, the Sage would make me happier.
  13. Very nice. Looks like it was taken in the 1860's prior to a battle between the North and South. I like
  14. Local weathermen said this was just a prelude to what was to come later tonight, tomorrow and on in to Tuesday.
  15. About a half inch of ice on the roads, trees and powerlines, was reezing rain, buthas since switched to sleet. Wouldn't get out now if I had to. Plenty of hooks to tie with, wife is cooking away, if only the kids were at the grandparents.
  16. It had some hooks in it. The hooks had some feathers, tinsel and other materials tied with thread to look like bugs you see in the water. Seriously, been there, lost a C&F box with over 100 flies in it, it hurts. But, sympathy from the wife on a trip to the fly shop for materials to replace is good too.
  17. I'm buring a vacation day on the 14th, going fishing to, wish it were at Taney, but I'll have to settle for the Illinois.
  18. Welcome, I too enjoy bluegills with the occaisional carp.
  19. Definately not doing 55.

    Mu Vs. Ou

Are you saying you let us win this one too? OU vs. MU was played twice this year, OU won both times. Both teams had injuries, and players missing, and both times OU won. Missouri had a great year, enjoy the bowl games, I know I will be rooting for all the BIG 12 teams in each match-up.
