Thank you to everyone who worked hard to make this event enjoyable. I also want to thank everyone who tried to help me get my trim up. James and I were finally able to get it up enough to get transom saver unde it and get it loaded properly.

Fished Friday afternoon from 3:30 to about 7 then went out today from 6:30 to 2:30. I did well on Friday. Had about a 3 or 4 poud LM, several in the 2 to 3 pound range and a lot of smaller ones. Caught them on a sb, jig and ned. Caught about 20 fish total. Today was a different story. Started with top waters and caught 2. Switched to jig and ned. I also threw crankbait and sb. All told only had 4 fish.

Maybe it's a Jersey cowfish.?

Not local. Texas or some other southern state.

Has any one ever heard or seen one of these? I think it is called a Piebald or something like that. I think it is a blue catfish with a pigment issue.

Had my boat out yesterday and she is running good. Now to get everything back in in an organized manner and leepig it that way. I don'tdo well with that.

Got my boat back last Tuesday so I thought I'd get her out Saturday and run it to see how she did. She is running great. Of course I had to fish while out. Started close to HI where I put in just in case. I fishedseveral places with spinner bait, jig and square bill. Got bit on the jig once and missed it. Boat was running good so I went to John's creek. Cought two shorts, one on crank bait and one on the blade. From there I went to Roaring River and caught about a 4 pound large mouth on the sb and another short. The wind died down back where I was so I switched to a jig with a paca craw. I caught one more large mouth about 2 1/2 or 3 lbs and 4 or 5 shorts. The water was not near as stained in Roaring River are as Holiday Island. Water temps were 58 to 62.

I have a freindthat should be featured on hoarders. He has a barn full of rods and reels, hard baits cover one wall, plastics another wall and a center section, spinner baits on another wall, all on pegs several deep and color sorted. He has a ton more in his house. Bad thing is he is moving ad has it all boxed and will have to hang it all again. I told him he should open a store.

I noticed that too. Wonder what the secret baits are.

Looks like I'll have my boat back this week. Can't wait to get it on the water Saturday! One good thing is it has made me take all my tackle out of the boat so now I'll try to organize it some.I had way to much in it.

Hahaha! Don't hurt yourself to bad! I am the Peruvian community. I happened to grow up in Bolivia and Peru. Iwas in my teens in Peru so I learned to cook some of the food. Up here I would be missing it, would look it up on the internet and make it. Papas a la Huancaina is pronounced like wonka eena.

It is awesome! It is served cold. It is an iconic Peruvian dish. It is called Papa a la Huancaina. Let me hear you say that 5 times real fast! ?

Maybe I will have my boat back by then. I dang sure hope so! I can bring a small folding table or two. I will also bring a Peruvian potato and cheese sause if anyone is interested in something a bit different. Let me know what y'all think. Any one that has tried has liked it if I don't make it very hot.

Crazy4fishin, my boat is still down so I'll take you up on your offer if it's still available. If not, anyone else have a spot for me?

My boat broke down while on the water yesterday so don't know if I will make it. I may fish it if one of you guys don't mind a woman in the boat with you and is willing to take me on board.
