  12. Thanks for the report Who... I'll add mine to it.. I made it down for a couple hours myself... I didnt see SQUAT!!! (no I dont mean Franck AKA Dawgsquat!)..LOL I saw about 6 hatchery flushes and ony about a dozen fish... Outlet 1 was DEAD!! and the same story with outlet 2... Best reports I heard today was about 3-8 fish MAX! after catching a total of 1 around the outlets.. I headed down stream.. I made my way down toward the bighole and thats where I found the fish... Caught 7 in about 20minutes using a black/purple hibernator missed about a dozen more strike... Tossed the PMS a few time.. 2 fish... for the most part pretty good for a 2 hours and 3 units... Leonard

  14. The building block to a very large family... We found out this morning as we were getting the kids off to school.... My wife is taken this very hard .. We are gathering the family tonight to tell Grandpa.. He also is very sick.. Please everyone our family need your prayers She will be missed!!!! Thanks Leonard
  15. Tim & Becky... Congrats on the shop... Welcome to the forum!!
  16. I have to agree with Jeremy.. Some of the rocks placed should be big and flat... maybe add a few small rock (boulders) under them to provide a hiding place... one end buried and the other end a foot or 2 off the bottom Like the big rock that had the space under it down it the rebar hole.. (covered after the flood).. Instead of adding more... they can the pull it back out use to be a big ledge rock right in the center just below outlet 2... maybe add another.. These were not thick rocks.. but they were huge and produced alot of fish in these areas.. *** Personally I dont think they can add big rock and not increase the lake level... with out removing (dredging) some of the small rock out.... If they did.. I would say add it into the other spot to make more eddies/gravel bars... or some along this line
  17. GREAT HERE WE GO AGAIN!! Brian.. here is a idea... PM me and explain to me what the hell your talking about... for 3 year I hear the some old crap .. show me the fly that is made the some way!!!
  18. George.. The PMS... is an something (a idea) I came up with about few years ago... PMS stand for Pine (squirrel)/Marabou/Streamer... It works really great at night.. but also during the day.. It imatates a minnow/a sculpin/ a leech. so it basic a 3 in one fly... at the beginning of 2010 you will see it everywhere.. Rainys fly has picked it up to manufactor.... as of right now you can get them from Phil (he sell them in the shop) or Feather-craft.. they have carried them since the beginning of this year... Leonard
  19. well after a morning of cooking... eatting... well its about nap time.. so I beter do this before I forget WHAT a NIGHT!! started off in "the CREEK".. started to leave the house and forget the number to the guy I was meeting up with.. ran in grabbed it and run out.. drive down the road (about 3 miles from the house).... (BLEEP BLEEP).... I forgot my flyrod.. a quick turn around back to the house and back on the road... got there about 9:15 or 9:30.. Met up with Ryan and geared up... digging in my car for about 15 minutes.... I forgot my headlamp.... Thank to Duane (DuckyDoty).. he had a spare for me to use (Thanks!) well that was the start.... LOL... Funny.. Its been awhile since I had been there I thought everything was in my bag.. well at least I got there with my waders and flies.... *** bag repacked.. extra batteries, extra lights, lines, floats, and clippers) Now for the fish... we head down toward the bighole.. picked up a few here and there on the Hibernator .. very slow.. in the first 1 1/2 hour maybe 10 fish between us both... we headed up toward the flats, Picked up 1 on a PMS... picked up a couple more on the Hibernators... BUT THEN... we found it!! Dead drifting a unweighted pine squirrel.. we made 3 walk downs from outlet to the rock bar and probably totaled out about 30 fish each.. Most all fish were in the 10-14in range..... but we did nail 3 in the 17-19in range... and 1 LUNKER brown.. about 13inches... Them little brownies can fight! what started out rough turn out pretty good!! Leonard PS.. thanks again Duane for the use of the light and clippers
  20. TB.. come on by.. Yeah they will probably be generating.. but you never know.. At least the food will be hot!!
  21. Oh yeah.. you can use 5wt at night... light woolies and small streamers.. really works good Id say beef it up in the earlier winter and during the fall (the spawn..or runs)
  22. This is what I use at night... It has worked in all types of conditions.. a 7wt 9' TFO pro... with floating line.. I do carry a spare spool with sinking line.. I may have used it a dozen times if that... Also have a sink tip that I hardly use either.. For the most part , if your just starting out night fishing.. Id stay with the floating lines (until you find all the rock, logs, hang-ups) Taneycomo isnt that deep.. there are a few big deep holes.. but unless you intend on using it all night long. so.... a good 7wt in a 8 1/2" upto maybe 9 1/2' floating line sink tip would probably be the best choice... (or just use some tungsten beads or cones) Leonard Take a trip over to BCO.. Micheal can get you started.
  23. Its not the big squids you got to worry about.. its those dang attack BEAVERS!!
  24. SWEET CATCH!!! a big pat on the back for that one... CONGRATS!! **** Im just really surprize that there hasnt been no crappy commit yet... I am really surprized*** Maybe it just hasnt sunk in yet...
