Yes... all in all a good day... there is still 1 more picture out there (Ronnie has it).. lets see run down for the day... 3 Nice fish.. a great bunch of guys to fish with I had the "special" coffee all to myself (nobody asked for it) got home just in time to get the boy off the bus (just by seconds) and to really top of the day... (Really the best part of the day) I got 3 loafs of banana bread.. That has to be the best I have EVER tasted!!! John.. Your a lucky man... Tami... IT WAS AWSOME!!!!! when I got home I eat a loaf and had some "coffee " with it... FANTASTIC!!!

The one with the worm on him was the one I caught also... I didnt take it out.. I wanted to get him back to the water...at least he is still swimming around for someone else now

UPDATE!! My flies are done, Got DuckyDoty's flies yesterday, and one is in the mail... Everyone is doing a Great Job getting the flies in... if I get all the flies before the due.. I guess I have to try them before I send them out...LOL Just joking.. I'll get them back in the mail the next day after receiving them all.. Leonard

I dont have a problem at all taking a few home myself... But I really dont take the under 12s home (take to many to make a meal).. with a wife and 2 kids plus myself.. a 20-23in fish will feed us all.. The thing I hate to see the most are these legal fish (20-24in) laying dead on the bottom, just because someone fought them to hard or poor mishandling.. when all they really needed to do is take a little time to revive the fish.. Let me start by saying the name is in the personality.... Dont be to quick on the name, give it a few days.. because 6 month down the road you dont want to catch yourself saying "I should have named you _____" We have a little dotson... and we named him scrappy... 8 weeks old.. second day with us.. we took him out for a walk.. a german shepard walked by.. and that little puppy thought he could tear the big dog up!!!... Also have a rabbit.. (no not for fly tying...yet!!) we thought about name her thumper.. she would thump her back feet when ever you would little her out of her cage... But we notice something right away.. she loved to nibble more then she thumped... so we decided to name her Nibbles.. she chews on beds, rugs, pillows, sheets, blankets, shoes, and if your sitting in the floor with her.. she will chew on your clothes... worst then a puppy so like I said give it a day or two.. and you'll find the "RIGHT" name But for now.. do like Polock said.. thats a well rounded name for a puppy

Before the Landing was built... (now I can let it out)...\ I would go to the dock (the 3 that was between Main street and the Lake Queen) and catch crappie, White bass, and trout all night... I would catch anything between 6-17in crappie (17 being the biggest)... as the water was running never did that well.. only when it was off. Over a 5 year span.. I had probably caught well over 200 crappie for the table... Now its just finding them again... but the only time that they would be in this spot was in the fall after Nov. and stay till the middle of Jan

I personally like to fish woollies unweighted... I can fish them slow and get a better dead drift.. and at the end of the drift the woolly rises... then to short strip it back letting it pause... Leonard.... AKA.. the stripper (Thanks to Terry)

to get to the hatchery... instead of at that first turn... go all the way to the stop sign.. take raight.. and you will see the turn off to go up toward the hacthery... I could tell you what the other guys were using.. But I was using pine squirrel sculpins (olive and blacks) Leonard...

This is what Ive heard... it was an older couple who got it.. he has just retired... a Farmer in the Springfield area... I have also heard the wife has been really sick (Cancer).. causing him to retire... I see this as someone who really needed it.. got it most of us really wish we had it but I glad to see them with it.. Leonard

Had to get one... so Terry doesnt fell so bad when he comes fishing again and gets skunked... now I have the costume to make him fell better when he cant catch a fish
