  1. Just checking to see if anyone has been catching White Bass below Bagnell Dam? Sounds like they are not generating as much water, so I think that would help? Any info. would be appreciated. Send me a PM if you'd like. Thanks!
  2. Hey Guys! Drove down from St. Louis yesterday afternoon and fished from docks today, near the Little Niangua. Fished with my 10 year old son using some of my Wade's Blades jigs in Yellow Chartreuse tipped with minnows on 24" Ice Fishing Rods with spring bobbers. (*Will post video and "How To" in the tips section later). Caught 30 Crappie. Water was pretty stained in color, but find some brush and you'll get bit! Here's a couple pics. Good Luck!
  3. Hi Everyone! My name is Greg and I'm an avid fisherman. I've been looking for a forum with information on fishing the tailwaters and various lakes in Missouri, and finally found it here. I live in St. Louis County and fish LOZ, Mark Twain, Carlyle Lake in IL, KY Lake, etc. I'm looking forward to reading about the great fishing and posting info. and reports myself. I'm a multi-species angler, as I love to fish for Crappie, Redear, Large & Smallmouth Bass, Hybrids, White Bass, Walleye, Catfish, Trout, Salmon, and anything else that swims. I'm so passionate about fishing that I even started a small business making lures for catching panfish. I have a website with products and a blog with reports & a Facebook Fan page. I'm also really into Ice fishing, and it's becoming one of my favorite ways to fish. If anyone wants more info. on Ice fishing, send me a e-mail or P.M. and I'll share with you what I know. This winter was one of the best ever, with long periods of cold temps. Below are just a couple pics of recent catches from this winter and last year. Come on spring!!! Tight Lines, Hope you'all Get Bit Soon!
  4. Seth, I was fishing from the bank on March 3rd. Was hoping the White Bass would show up, but only caught three small bass. Only saw one other fish caught and that was a crappie. Hopefully with this warm weather the White Bass will move up there. They were generating a lot of water 35,000 units. Last year I caught some nice White Bass around this time of year. Water temps are a bit colder this year though. Let me know if you hear they are biting. I'm gonna try to head down one day next week, in between the rain. I'll post a report if I catch them. Here's a couple pics of the bass. CPR'd them (catch, photograph, and released) Good Luck! Get Bit
