i was on hwy 245 at bona, and i saw four or five cars there and was wondering about the fishing It was around 2:30 or 2:45 that afternoon. LOL

Idrove by the bridge yesterday around 230 or 245 and i saw like 4 or five cars i was jsut wondering if they were having any luck.

i was just wonderin what part of the lake would be good for crappie fishing, or would i need to stay up in the river.

ON Sat 22nd went fising around Pittsburg landing area, the crappie bite was slow lots of shorts and a few keeper every now and then. All crappie were caught on jigs. Landed one Keeper Bass on a spinner. THe rest of the four or five bass we caght were on jigs and rooster tails. THe lake was calm, the boat traffic picked up around 2ish. Over all we had a good day.

for the first half hour a buddy and i caught 5 small LM then it went dead, we were trolling the bank area just south of the Pittsburg launch. We Were out for 2 hours.

old state park is now called hartley. they are across the road from each other

the shad were hoovering under cc bridge but wasnt much more activity today. couldnt really buy a bite the whole day today used jigs, minnows, spinners, rat'le traps all turned up nothing. THe water in CC area was dirty looking no visibility. THe buddy and i did help an older couple when there boat trailer/boat jumped off the hitch.

thats better than our day (today) was out at cc area all day and no luck, but there is always next time.

in the city of springfield there is 12 quadurants which each have there own tax rate based on the area/ disciption of town. so like the sams club on sunshine and the one on campbell charge different tax rates. They talked about this on the news a while back but u can also find it on the city website if im not mistaking. If you ever even visit walmart on campbell its the most expensive one in town as well compared to the other four.

Its an ok store but mainly for athletic sports but does have some various other things so not to bad of a place.

Pink works well, LOL. I have actually started trout fishing down at bennett now. but i still enjoy lake fishing as well. -
so around ozark would be my better bet. thanks for the info. Idont know that area at all so how would i get there.

It is a nice store and does have a lil bit better pricing its just out of my way a lil bit to go unlike bass pro is on my route home from work.

i like bass pro, but i will definately give academy a shot if they have better deals.

thats cool, i was in CG3 it was peaceful. i had a great time with my 4wt caught some and lost some, Most were small to regular size a few nice ones were being seen. I only fished at the spring this time.

thanks guys i will hopefully be down Sat morning if all goes well. by that i mean hopefully do some fishing that morning then that afternoon set camp, then more fishing. I dont really need electric. Im a newbie to fly fishing but will to take advice and diff techniques when given the chance. I am planning on stayin until monday midday if i go over the weekend if not ill go during the week.
