Fished Taney for the 1st time today, and it was all that i expected plus more. Got on the water about 9 and caught a nice rainbow right off the bat. They fishing was consistent from then til around 1, and then it got much slower. I had a little luck on a mclellans hunchback scud in tan, but had the most fish, including a 18" brown on a fellow OA sowbug, or "sowpig" as he calls it, in olive.
I want to thank everyone for posting, especially all the reports on Taney. Thanks to yall i had the first of many experiences fishing this great tailwater. By the way, someone forgot to mention that a 10" stocker in Taney fights like a 18" in Beaver!
