    what are your guys' favorite color of egg to use. A couple years ago mine was peach, it was straight deadly on Taney but have not had as much luck on it this year, pink has been so so. Multi colored being another decent one, in MO or ARK has anyone had good results using and egg with a dot in it? Overall, not just for one certain fishery, what is your favorite/most productive color of glo bug to use?

    I called the number and was transferred to the dam, where I was told the draw down will actually be on the 5th of Nov, starting at 5 am.

    I have only fished taney a few times from the boat, but I really enjoyed it and had a great time. How is the fishing? it was so so last night when they had the water on.

    How different were things before the flood? If the flooding had not had happened, and they would not have had to open the flood gates in September would we be having this conversation? And before the flooding how many big fish were taken home every year? I agree MDC does a lot, but would a stricter regulation on brown trout help the lake fill up with larger brown trout like it was before the flooding?

    Guess the title says it all. The marina maintains the launch ramp and courtesy dock so it's under its jurisdiction, there is also no daily parking fee in place so no $4 charge or whatever it is

    If Arkansas has a superior strain of brown trout why does MDC not adopt it?

    I agree with laker on the introduction on triploids. The triploids are sterile so they don't expend energy on spawning. The population could be controlled by the number planted. If the question was raised on them affecting other fish population, what is really the difference in stocking stripers elsewhere? The world record rainbow is a triploid.

    How are the browns put back in the lake? I mean do they do it themselves, or are they restocked back in? And is it all at once or is it broken up ?

    My grandparents live in the central valley above Sacramento, and I will be heading that way in early November. Does anyone have any west coast steelhead experience, such as flies, leaders, etc. These are not the same kind of steelies one would find farther north, they average 5 lbs with 10lbs being rare. Not exactly sure what to throw at them. will be fly fishing only!

    Saw a sweet picture of a guy at the hatchery holding a 24.5 inch brown and he said they've had a lot of big browns moving up the ladder

    It just became aware today that a boat was stolen from a public marina dock in the indian point area. Could this be the same people? Really weird because the boat wasn't special or anything, it was older. You can see where the punctured the air hose on the lift to get it to go down because the controls were locked.

    Short outing tonight but did well on white streamers with a medium/slow retrieve we all had decent numbers

    Kind of a slow night but we managed to net this one. Caught on a white streamer. Phil said they would be keying on white for a month or so after the gates closed, and I guess this pic proves him right! 24 inches, it was my buddy's first lunker. The moss is horrible above outlet 2, it was driving me nuts. Found it to not be so bad around outlet one.
