Prices Lowered Need to part with some reels and rods that have just been sitting around in my garage. Honestly guys, I've got 4 boys that play baseball and don't have nearly enough time to justify all the gear I have, when most weekends we're travelling to tournaments. This is high quality gear that is in excellent condition. Most have never even been used. Available for pickup in SW Springfield. Feel free to text or call if you have any questions. Can send additional photos upon request. Team Lew's TL1H - SOLD Lew's Tournament Pro TP1H - SOLD Falcon Cara T7 Micro Head Turner (great all around rod) - SOLD Falcon Care T7 Reaction Deep Runner (great XD6 or DD22 rod) - SOLD Team Lew's Speed Stick 7'2" Med Hvy (nice heavy jig rod or possible a-rig rod) - $50 (never used) Chris 417-655-2382 blaine.chris@yahoo.com -

Oops We Did It Again March 28Th. Current Fishing Report
Cblaine replied to Bill Babler's topic in Table Rock Lake
I'm also a fan of the Super Duty. It has a really low profile and is incredibly light weight. I made the mistake of letting a friend try it out a couple of weeks ago and it was all I could do to get it back from him. I have mine paired with a Falcon Amistad and am extremely pleased with the setup for throwing the A rig. -
Yes Woody55555 I do have a red and white ranger. Did you see me out on the water?

Thanks for the feedback guys. We're from Springfield. Just going down for a few days over spring break - my wife found a really good last minute deal on lodging. I've got the border permit so should be fine there. I hadn't even thought of trout fishing on Taneycomo. My only experience fishing there is with a flyrod on the trophy section. That being said, where would you suggest launching the boat? I have absolutely no experience trout fishing from a boat. We'll have spinning set-ups with 4 and 6 lb mono. What else would I need and could you at least point me in the right direction from the boat launch? Thanks for your suggestions. I can't tell you guys how much I value this forum, having moved to the area just over 2 years ago. I don't post a lot as I'm still trying to figure out where to go (there are so many options, especially compared to Nebraska) and what techniques to use. But I frequent the site almost daily and soak in all the information so many of you generously post.

Thanks for the info johndarin and Woody55555. I've never fished the Long Creek area, but will be down there Wed-Fri of this week with my family. Will be staying at Big Cedar. Any other pointers for crappie fishing in this area? I'll have my sons with me (10, 7 and 4) and would love to get them on some fish. They are really excited and want me to take them to the store to buy "their own" swimming minnows with some money they saved up. I don't really care what they catch, just want to get them hooked on this sport we all know and love. We will have our boat so can be pretty flexible in where we go. I've looked at past posts as well as the maps on the forum to get as much information as possible. Sounds like it can be pretty hit and miss this time of year and that you may need to cover quite a bit of water and if you catch a couple in a spot you probably need to keep moving. With all this rain this weekend I'm sure the water is going to be pretty murky. The warmer weather in the forecast should start warming the water up a bit. Should I go up to the main lake for clearer water or fish the timber in long creek, brushy creek, etc? Any tips or pointers are appreciated.

What Color Line Do You Guys Use For Largemouth
Cblaine replied to jlinmo226068's topic in Table Rock Lake
Just curious if anyone has tried the Suffix 832 braid in ghost color. They claim this new color is virtually invisible in clear water. Wonder if it would increase the applications for my current a rig set up (7' 3'' Falcon Amistad) without having to change line or reels. -
Great discussion guys. Since we've covered topwater rods I'm curious what gear ratio most of you are using on your topwater reels.

August 9Th. 2012 Table Rock Lake Current Fishing Report
Cblaine replied to Bill Babler's topic in Table Rock Lake
RPS and Bill - Would you mind sharing what color/size spoons you prefer? Looking to pick up a few and give them a try. Thought the Shad and Glow (RealImage) looked like they may be the ticket. -
Thanks for all the feedback guys. This helps a lot.
