Have you listened to a game broadcast by Mike Shannon? Nothing is EVER the fault of the cardinals. He constantly calls out the umpires whether it is about the strike zone, or about a close play. Instead of saying a member from another team made a good play I have heard him call it lucky time and time again. It's not like I have listened to quite a few also. My step dad is a cardinals fan, I have a lot of friends who are cardinals fans. It wasn't a one time deal. I don't love the cardinals as an organization, but they are well run for the most part and have been able to sustain success. No one can argue that. What people don't like, and the reason so many people root against the cardinals.. The fans. You all say you don't mind if everyone hates you.. It's because so many are just a bunch of pompous assholes. So many cardinals fans act like your the most humble fan base in the world yet all you ever do is brag about cardinal "Nation". Or everyone is just jealous and that's why they don't like us. The reason so many people don't like the cardinals is they have been forced down the throat of every baseball fan as being this perfect franchise by the MLB and the media. Yes they have the success, but you cannot argue with them getting some calls going their way. Sure it didn't totally change the game but let's look back at this gem. "Best Fans in Baseball" is what so many call themselves. I think it goes Shields or Ventura. Shields brings experience, but after that last start Yordano is throwing the ball well.

Exactly the type of response I expect from a cardinals fan. Just because your fan base believes that your team is gods gift to the sport of baseball doesnt mean everyone else has to. And dont act all high and mighty about sportsmanship when no one in the league likes to play your team because they are known for starting bs like the other night hitting Puig. Just because kershaw is the best pitcher on that team doesnt mean he can't get in trouble and get pulled. When there were guys on first and second he dung have been pulled and the relief pitcher shouldn't have stepped into a bases loaded, no outs situation. Mattingly got a big head about his pitcher and left him in when he shouldn't have. He gets pulled earlier and they hold the cardinals off.

I can't describe how much I hated that game. That should have been beyond over and Kershaw out when he made it to the sixth with bases loaded and no out a. he was obviously in trouble and left in and it pretty much gave the cards the game.

Smith is the best qb we have had under center since Green. I get people wanting someone else... Who would that be?

Should be able to get everyone's flies out on monday.

I usually throw 8 or so straight feet of 6 pound test. If I am switching flies and strikes are few and far between I downaize to 4 pound. If I'm throwing bigger flies ill use anything up to 12 for mice or big streamers.

Good luck getting those tickets. They are getting more expensive by the hour. I thought they were done after the second Moss homer. They stuck it out. Salvy was the hero there, but if he would stop swinging at EVERY pitch that is below his letters he may do a little better than 1-7.
