  1. Thanks, I did forget. My first TX isn't until the end of March so I have a little time.
  2. HOPEFULLY THE WATER IS STILL STABLE!
  3. Mostly bluffy banks with at least 30ft of water close to the boat. I caught most of my fish setting in at least 20' of water. I had one in about 6' I was setting in 12' Fished a 6" curly tail blue black laminate worm on shakey head. Fished a trick worm in watermelon candy on a 1/16oz flikken/shimmy head. Not sure how deep the worm was getting, but I would say at least 5+feet before I got a hit. The shakey head was 3/16oz. It never hit the bottom! The 2nd fisherman was in 8ft of water pitching to shallow bushes with a jig. The 3rd place fish was caught on sinko's, also in the brush, not sure of the color of any of those places.
  4. Fished a 14 man tournament out of Willow Winds this weekend. Took 5 fish each day for a limit total weight of 21.58 1st place. 11 limits of 5 fish. Four people had limits each day. Big on Saturday 4.09 Sunday 4.39. Looks like the lake is up about 4ft from Friday. Weather didn't seem to have bother the fish at all as there were 86 fish for 163lbs. Most of the fish were on jig and trailer or sinko fished in the shallow bushes. Personally caught mine on shakey head and wacky worms. Had first place.
  5. Thanks, much appreciated!
  6. Thanks for the report!. May I trouble you for the color and type of trailer you were throwing on your jig?
  7. So the little club that I fish in had 18 people and it took only 6lbs to win. Most of the fishermen reported catching small fish all day Saturday and Sunday. The winner caught his fish on lizards fished on a small weight carolina rig. However, the bigger individual fish were caught on spinnerbaits. I had only 2 fish and both of them were just keepers. I did catch numerous fish on lizards as well just to small to keep. Friday, even in the rain, snow, sleet and cold windy weather was the better day fishing. Partner had a 3.5 and I had 2 keepers over 2.5. We caught fish from 11:00am until 4:30pm. As the weather will continue to change I'm sure that this info will change too. Lake was around 60degrees ever-where we went to in the Niangua arm of the lake.
  8. Never played soccer. Haven"t fished LOZ yet this year. Will file a report on Monday after the TX.
  9. Appreciate the info. Hoping to find some fish on their way to the dance. If not, I would think that those fish already on beds would stay even with the cold front and rain on the way.
  10. Were they over 6+ feet of water or deeper.
  11. Thanks for the info! Got a small tournament there the 4&5th. Hopefully the weather people are wrong about the forecast.
  12. I'm pretty sure that the shad spawn before the bass but how do I identify what to look for? Do they spawn in the same areas as the bass? Do they flip on the surface like they do in the fall? Any help in this area would be appreciated.
  13. Tried a trout Rouge before but nothing.
  14. Generally "pitch" as apposed to flip and I do it on most lakes that I fish. Course it "bit" me on Bull two weeks ago. Not a fish in the bushes at all but I think that was because the lake lever was changing.
  15. Thanks for keeping us up to date!
