  1. Any new reports? Got some rain coming this week and I'm in construction so I thinking on headed back there. Seth you or anyone have any news ?
  2. Be careful walking in by a bridge There is an ordinance supposedly prohibiting parking within 500' of a bridge or something like that. Catch and release in my creek. I'm selling my place soon so pm me your number and I can give you directions recent floods have flushed some dandy smallies into the few root wad holes I have on my property I watched the neighbor kid catch goggle eye cast after cast yesterday before the storm. That was pretty cool.
  3. All males. Our biggest was 35" smallest was 28" what a nice spot though. What's your thoughts on the dam. We went up there but it was kinda violent.
  4. Wow. Thanks for the PM Seth. We did as you said and limited out on spoonbill in a hour! 4 guys Caught some dandy whites and couple big Kentuckies.
  5. I got it figured out on the meramec so plan on a summer time expedition. We might have to cover twenty miles but its worth a limit of giant walleye
  6. Seth, thanks for the pm. Anytime you want to come fish with me on the meramec for walleye just holler
  7. I can't take it. I'm headed down in morning. Hopefully catch a hybrid or snag a spoonbill
  8. And any ideas for hybrids? Lure ? Proximity?
  9. Has anyone been up cheret creek across from Washington to the culvert pipe? Thinking of going up there tomorrow for whites. Any thoughts
  10. Somebody please confirm this bite so I can know when to hook up my boat.
  11. Finally a post with some good info! I don't know yet if I can make the two hour drive. Is it time or still too early? I wanna catch hybrids and walleye
  12. It was a fun boat ride. Ran up to goodes mill white water rapids. Then all the way to the fish trap below robertsville. The bourbeuse has it all mucked up. Should have went way up the meramec
  13. Right on. Thanks. I'm running up to goodes mill in morning. I will relinquish any helpful info if I do good
  14. No walleye but good grief we caught the bass !
  15. Anybody have a clue to the walleye spawn at the mill race dams Did anybody try in last week after or before the push of water
  16. Puttin in at Stanton tomorrow and going down. Heard a story of a gigantic walleye sunning himself down that way Maybe to pass the time try and catch some of those giant winter smallies. Even though its spring.
  17. Went to Labadie yesterday Snagged a bunch of Asian carp tried for whites and hybrids. Not a bite. 68 degree water why they're not in there is beyond me. Ran up cheret creek till I came to the slab where the water violently comes through the pipe. 43 degree water. Tried everything. Negatory on bites
  18. Okay Kayser Come clean out my Kentuckies. Just leave the goggles and smallies swimming free
  19. Walleye prespawn? What's the word fellows? I'm thinking hitting some mill dams Maybe some creek mouths. Crappie fishing is getting boring. Still waiting on my boat to get built. Guess I will bust through the brush unless someone has a empty seat in their boat
  20. Why do people eat bass anyway ?
  21. It would be awesome fun on a fly rod but with a family and a business I have to fish fast and furious 39 was yesterday's catch 3 black all the rest whites. I can't wait to get my river pro. Getting tired of packin in through the brush. If anybody has a pond or lake with crappie in it and you see little slurps on the surface try suspending a jig 12" or a little more under a bobber. Usually in the middle but I just look for the hatch and see where the wind is gathering all the (crappie bugs) on the windward bank
  22. The otter problem is obvious on my creek the Little Meramec. I leave an open invitation every year for a trapper buddy of mine. Those otter kill for fun. Dead fish with bite marks in every hole until trapping season starts. I still have nice smallies though. Catch and release only ! Your invited. Don't over run the place though. Don't want em to have sore mouths. I haven't waded it for three years but I caught a 20" smallie that time. It only had one gill. Kind of an oddity
