    Has anyone had any success with cleaning a min Kota trolling motor exterior material. Black has faded and cant seem to find anything to brighten it up and last for any length of time. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Caught quite a few dads in a trap and don't recall seeing any orange ones. The ones found in the live well they regurgitated are usually light orange. Also, when you boil them, they turn orange. Most dads caught in the trap are dark green with shades of red or blue around the pinchers.

    We just stayed at four seasons on aunts creek. Very nice and clean and great people. However, for family, you can't beat still waters on Indian point. Check out their web site.

    Have two gamin fish finders. A 160 and a 240. The 160 works good and the 240 needs a transducer. Make offer.

    Great reports. Has anyone been in the dam area for small jaws?

    Fished dam area again today. 6 fish with 4 being keepers. All smalls but one knt. French fries and shaky head senko. No takers on blade or jigs. Approximately 15 foot depth. Had to keep one fish due to bleeding and cleaned it. Been eating crawdads and also had eggs. Does anyone know why they have eggs this time of year??

    Fished the dam area today.water temp 58-59f. ended day with 10 fish with 5 being keepers. All nice smalls except one Kent. One of smalls was diseased real bad had several cankers over his body and missing dorsal fin and bloody?? Fish seemed to be half way back in bays or cuts in 10-15'. All on jigs except 2 on grubs. Two eagles sighted. Beautiful day despite the wind. "Why would you want to be anyway else"

    Seen a few mallards on wednesday in little Indian but none yesterday. Local geese near Indian point marina late yesterday.

    Two of us fished Indian point area yesterday. Very cool and windy. Only caught 6 or so with one keeper smallie. Very tough. Today different day. Had 16 with 5 nice keepers. 4 sm and one lrg. Jigs, centipede, tube. A couple on boat dock the rest in 15-20 ft near wood. beautiful day to fish. " Why would you want to be anywhere else"

    Fish Baxter area yesterday from 11 till dark.two of us had 12 or so with 4 keepers with one being a 4lb small. on jigs (football and small Eakins) had a couple on shaky head, senko,lizard. Had one come unbuttoned on wart, none on blade or grub. No pattern at all. On here and one there."Why would you want to be anywhere else"

    Might want to try still waters resort on Indian point. Best on the lake. Check it out on the net.

    Finished small buddy annual tourney 29-1st. 24 guys fishing out of Indian point . Had 387 total fish with approx 180+ keepers or so. Can't remember exactly but the keeper ratio was 48%.most fish caught on Eakins jigs, French fries,tubes and football jigs. Biggest was 5.25 lb. Most all caught in 15 to 30 ft range. Slow is the key.very light bite. Been keeping records for 5 years and believe this is best keeper ratio yet. Getting better daily.

    I have seen a fox in that area before. It was on the south end of the bluff though. Must be a local. Nice fish.
