I'd say that's a pretty broad generalization.
And it's not like the right is all that interested in protecting the environment. Romney is chomping at the freaking bit to expand fracking.
Anywhere you're looking for bigger trout or smallies/largemouth. It's only a size 4 and unarticulated so it's not THAT big. I pulled in a pretty nice rainbow out of James A Reed on it last weekend.
If you're only looking for small stuff I can look at what other materials I have laying around, but I mostly fish streamers.
Pretty decent, got one nice one on a streamer. Saw another guy there nymphing that seemed to be reeling in fish but not sure how many were trouts.
If you have kids, honker pond is basically fish in a barrel right now.
I'm gonna hit Plover again in a few minutes once I finish this coffee and get my crap in the car.
I'd definitely get a kindle fire over anything HP-made, especially now, but I would wait until the new version of the Fire comes out. Rumors are a bigger screen, a lot of updates, and I'm sure the same current price or cheaper.
Here's my version but veiled with laser dub on 3366's (2/4).
All things being equal I prefer the longer shank of the b10s but the 3366's are a hell of a lot cheaper.
For fly tying I'd look at http://oregonflyfishingblog.com/fly-tying-videos/ instead of the magazine route.
Great videos on products, techniques, and patterns plus it's free.
It was gin clear last weekend and pretty crowded, making for pretty lock-jaw fish inside the park. Got a couple on hare's ear soft hackles but had to work hard for em.
I believe sharpies will fade on some materials whereas prismacolors won't.
In KC I've only had luck finding prismacolors at Hobby Lobby (Not at Joann's or Michaels). If you watch the weekly ad for Hobby Lobby they do 50% off all markers every few weeks or you can just use the 40% off coupons they put out a couple times a month. With the 40% off coupons you can print them off as many times as you want so just make a few trips during that week and get one marker each time.
Edit: just checked their ad for this week and all art markers (including prismacolors) are 30% off
