  1. Sounds like you caught a nice gar, congrats. Where is this cove located?
  2. Bee Creek on Taney?
  3. Im thinking of fishing Bull Shoals for the first time in next couple of weeks and I was wondering if anyone know of a few good Gar spots where I can attempt to catch a few? Im not familiar with this lake so detailed directions would be great, thanks in advance.
  4. I've had both the aluminum, and Nitro but not anymore. They are a great value boats but they put no RD in the Grizzly or Tracker (try a G3 Or Xpress- BIG DIFFERENCE), and the Nitro is like the "Great Value" of bass rigs, try riding in a Phoenix or Ranger!! Do your own research before you buy anything from BPS, if you ask an employee (not all of them) oh and if they don't run when they see you coming, they are more likely to know who was on the Cosmo cover last month. Bad Service and Product- I'm glad to see smaller companies coming alive, I like to talk and purchase from a company who hires and creates products for fisherman by fisherman.
  5. I totally agree, but only way to go is Kings or the Cape areas, if you enjoy calm peaceful fishing. You won't be impressed with the populated parts of TR when summer is in full swing and the Wake boats, party barges, and the careless behavior starts.
  6. Let me guess, BearDen north side? He is a begging fool, and nearly tame.
  7. The "do-nothing" lure, I think I'll change that name to the "Obama Lure"
  8. I know that the TR forum is mostly related to bass fishing, but I've been fishing them all year and need a change (too many boats last weekend doing the samething). I'm thinking of heading out to the Cape Fair area or maybe Kings to try something different, does anyone has any suggestions or tips/tricks to lay on this topic? I'll be one less boat chasing the same fishing in the same cove!
  9. I guess my answer to this question is, Yes I would pay more for customer service, I do it all the time. There is a reason I'm willing to pay 5% more for food at Target over going to Wal-Mart and waiting in line for 15 mins. I also use my local MFA, and TruValue, I can feed and chainsaws cheaper but I like the customer service. It sucks that everyone is out to save a few bucks, plus I've never seen a deal a bass pro, they might have major buying power but they never pass that along. Add one more thing, foreign vehicle regardless of where assembled do not park in my driveway, I buy local and American when I can, or until customer service or product turns to crap!! There are compeditors in every market, what sets them apart is customer service and product dependability.
  10. This seams to be the norm out of major corps, it doesn't have to be this way. I love to shop local but I've never had great service out of the bass pro in SGF location. Try Cabelas, they treat you right!
  11. Has anyone seen whites surfacing? If so what time? I've been out drifting flats for the eyes, but have been itching to hurt my thumb catching whites. I really don't fish Stockton allot but going to start, just need a little help. I like fishing the twin bridges area if some info can be directed to that area. Thanks everyone
