I agree, waterpossum. I fish for the sport and fun of it. But, I'm sure a lot of people disagree.

I agree, totally, zarraspook. Pound for pound the fightin'est bass around!

My wife caught her biggest fish at Stockton in the fall. It was a 15" Smallmouth. I sure got a kick out of watching her catch it. The fish slammed a small spinnerbait she was using. Darn near tore the rod out of her hands. She kept trying to hand me her fishing rod and I just started laughing. I said, "You caught it, you reel it in"! Every time she would try to hand me her pole, the Smallmouth would make a run and I just laughed harder. She finally got it in. It was a real bronze beauty. We released the fish to fight again and we all had a great day.
