    I fish out of the cove just West of Wheatland campground as with you can't miss me running a Ranger red with bright green and yellow stripes and yellow seats can't miss it lol

    Maybe will see you out there this weekend also the brush piles in open water had a lot More fish on them than the ones around timber. Good luck to you and your club

    Fished Saturday mornin 6 to 9 caught 15 crappie using tubes on brush piles in 15 to 20 for. Then fished a bass tournament Saturday night our best 5 fish were 15.93 lbs.best nite was from 8 till 12 using plastic wormsfishin points close to deep water. Good fishin to all

    Lol just wondered seen a guy and a small kid bass fishin some brush piles Sunday while I was out chasin crappie but gonna focus in on bass this weekend. Done some night bass fishin last weekend and done pretty good on worms and jigs but didn't really key in on the piles

    Were you fishin those piles during the day? Also were you in in a white boat with a young boy with you .

    Put in at 7:30 Saturday morning at Wheatland ramp fished that general area fished till 11:00 had 13 keepers and several shorts all on jigs fishing brush piles

    Wind was a pain in A but managed to get a limit off brush piles in 14 to 24 fow on tube jigs in bout 2 1/2 hrs good fishin to all

    Our bass tournament was out of Wheatland ramp and the pocket by the dock was full of dead crappie. We actually seen crappie come to the surface covered in fungus and roll over on there side while we were fishing.

    Said the plane was buzzing low over the water in the cove south of Thunderbird and appeared that there was something coming out of the back of the plane so I was just curious

    Don't think its culling way to many also anyone know what they were spraying the lake for last week . Seen spray plane spraying in the wheatland campground area. Fished tournament Sunday caught slot of bass had Probly 15 keepers biggest around 3 1/2 few on square Bill most on plastics in less than 4ft of water.

    We went 2 hours after bass fishin caught12 keepers and slot of shorts using jigs fishing brush piles

    Some friends of mine have been catching them on piles with jig. I went out this evening but was bass fishin. Will be going out in the morning bass fishin first then goin after some crappie will let you know how it goes.
