  1. About a mile and a half below the galena bridge just above blunks is where it all starts going slack.
  2. It gets better a little further down around the train bridge and past shoals motel. (Camp Harlow)
  3. I fished buzzbaits from the y bridge down to blunks yesterday evening and did pretty good. went 5 for 5 a fish every cast at the cave hole most were small i only had 3-4 over 15.
  4. Yea hit the y bridge there are a lot of smallies hold up around the pillars. HL Kerr is the name of the access.
  5. Maybe it is one of the plastic bottles.
  6. Rebel craw, zara puppy, hula grub.
  7. There is good and bad with anything in this world and i have caught seen many more fish affected by c&r then gigging. (aside from the ones harvested) But the whole gigging debate is kinda like beating a dead horse ain't it?
  8. Very cool.
  9. I have caught quite a few off mayfly jigs and a small rebel craw working the banks around chunk rocks.
  10. I have been doing pretty good on the lower james, kerr to galena beating the banks with crayfish patterns.
  11. May be kinda crude to think this way but maybe it will weed out some of the morons on the water. Natural Selection at work kinda thing.

  14. I honestly do not feel bad for the parents of that 3 year old. That gun had to be loaded with the safety off and in reach of a knee high child for him to shoot himself.(Here ya go Billy play with this) PURE NEGLECT. The parents should be in jail.
  15. i went a few days ago and the fishing was pretty good, did not take count but the biggest one was a 21 inch smb. the biggest part of my fish were caught on 5" hula grubs pumpkin with purple flake. and senko worms wacky rigged.
  16. cox is private.
  17. I like to fish the river arms for flathead, take some worms maybe a kid and catch a few bluegill for bait. walnut springs is a pretty decent spot, https://maps.google....num=10&t=m&z=10 Then a little further down the road there is a bridge just before flat creek resort with a spot you can pull off on the left. https://maps.google....mra=ls&t=m&z=13 And a few more miles is another bridge you can fish pretty easy just before Bridgeport resort. https://maps.google....&t=m&z=13&via=1
  18. I got a 15lb Flathead this spring on an old stinky minnow i netted the day before, but usually i get all my big ones off big sunfish about the length of my hand when I am running lines. A good easy to find bait around here is shad entrails you can find them at just about any bait shop in the freezer.
  19. looks like right below kerr.
  20. I have no idea. But i have eaten fish out of table rock for the past 15 years with no health problems.... yet...
  21. i have found a few whites here and there while fishing for smallies and a 18 inch walleye above blunks last week.
