  1. Doh! You're right ha-ha! Had to get on and look at the identification charts :/
  2. And as always, not much luck. I've attached pictures of what we did catch, pretty much the same size and etc.. as always ha-ha. We can always catch fish, just seem to have this problem a lot! (see pictures) Not sure, experts help out, Small striper, or hybrid? I'm going with Striper.. I thought I had one of the small LMB we caught also, he was about 3" long on the flicker shad also.. Never fails, always catching these little guys, even on bigger baits lol. It's always funny seeing a catch that's the size, or smaller then the bait you're using lol.
  3. My father, daughter, and I went out one day last year and tore some panfish up! We were catching perch and such for trot lines and started catching some that were as big and bigger then my hand! Around 7" long and a good 4-5" wide. My daughter (10 years old) was having a blast catching them so we stayed at it. I think we probably caught over 200 that day! We were fishing shallow submerged trees and rocky banks just using the good 'ole worm and bobber! Their in Beaver, just have to find them, and keep going haha
  4. So, my Father and I are thinking about going out tomorrow. With all this rain though, we're not sure if it will be worth going out or not? We were originally planning on going out and trying for some stripers, crappie, walleye... Dad just showed me a picture from a guide from today though from their website and it looked like they limited out today on stripers with a 38lb'er as their biggest today. Any input on where we should try? We caught one 18lb'er last year and I've been hooked and wanting to catch some more ever since! At the time I had a shattered left wrist and broken sternum from a car accident so the one I caught I wasn't able to reel in of course Dad had too ha-ha. Anyway, any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance and good fishing to all!
  5. Went out and took some quick pictures the other day, thought I'd share some of the ones I liked. Let me know what you think!
  6. Name: Justin Day When: Feb. 2012 Where: CC - Stockton Lake My buddies puppy Apollo and one of the 13"s we caught that day. Apollo was sure he was getting lunch, I think the Crappie was like: " Oh no! Not like this!!" Ha-ha
  7. We are heading up to PC now to try our luck. We've been fishing south of war eagle avout 5 miles, white river arm I guess.. we caught 1 31" striper, our first time trying and first ever. Water is REALLY muddy now, less than a foot of visibility. Also caught two 14" crappie yesterday trolling. Hopefully we catch some at PC!
  8. Just wondering if anywone can give me any good information on Walleye fishing at Stockton. Planning on going this week. We've been out 6 times so far. Only yesterday did we finally catch some fish (Crappie), I take that back, Wednesday we caught a 12" Shad... lol Haven't gottten to do a lot of fishing the last 5 years, mostly been in Iraq/Afghanistan the whole time... So, out making up for lost fishing time!!! Just needing some help on catching fish. I've searched and I've read and read on here for tips. Just not having much luck. Conservation agent stopped us the other day and told us that when the water temp hits 50* it'll be time. Well, yesterday we saw 47-49* water temps! We put in at CC Bridge and went left from the dock. If you could maybe let me know a few good spots, it would be greatly apprecieated!! I'm not familiar with any of the "names" that people have, like Chicken rock etc... Also, yesterday, didn't have any luck until 3, was in the water at 8 am lol. When we finally started catching fish, they were in 25' of water, supspended at 15'. We were trolling and caught 10 in about an hour. The were caught on: 5 - 2" Swimmer baits in blue/silver and perch, 3 on 1/4 oz White Crappie jig, and 2 on a 4" Rapala black/silver crank. Thanks and Good Luck fishing!
