Speaking of Mizzou, it made me feel better that Ole Miss won the SEC tournament after the way Mizzou blew that last game!!! As mentioned by me, Mizzou should have won that game by 10+ points, so this hoping Haith learned something this year about this team and has them ready and lets them play .......but they have let me down soooooooooooo many times this year, it is hard to get too excited about them making a run.......I am not going to fill out a bracket for the first time in decades!!!....but I will enjoy all the games on the tube, even if the Mrs. won't!!!!

now that I am finished barfing over the loss last nite, I will say this!!! that loss is on Haith!!! He played to not lose instead of playing to win!!! He pulled the plug on the O......they stopped pushing to ball on breaks, they stopped attacking in the half court.....they have to many athletic players to sit out there and run the clock down for a shot......they have a 50 % chance of a rebound, if not higher, when they take it to the hole...because Oriaki is a beast.....use him, dammit!!! That should have been a 10+ point win and would have been if they would have kept riding the waves!!! ...was really looking forward to watching them again today.....

....the biggest issue was floating to cane bluff, shuttling back to thom'ville to get trailer and truck, driving back to cane to load canoes, driving back down to whiten, putting canoes in again to float to whites creek.......all when getting to thom'ville around noon to start.......and to get back to whites creek before dark!!! squeezed the fishing!!!!

sooner hunter, I hate to but have to disagree with Mark on most of the fishing part!!! I was with him on that trip and caught all kinds of small smallmouth early in the float when I fished hard. We were really pressed for time so had to pass up many great looking spots. In the early part of the float, i saw some of the largest smallmouth I have ever seen!!! they were spooked because I was not the first to the hole.....we had 3 canoes...... Hindsight tells me to park the canoe/kayak ahead of some of those holes and sneak to them to fish......the cattle part I agree with, but it was not but for a small portion or two......not much fishing pressure up there and would love to attempt it again some time!!!

my thoughts exactly Al!!! the mugging of pressey was BIG...crucial time in the game where mizzou either extends their lead or takes the lead!!!...and right on with Oriaki....be gets beat up all the time....he has to be confused about what is a foul and what is not!!! I AN SO GLAD THE SEC IS FINISHED THE HOME GAMES......lets put these teams on the neutral floors and start playing some real basketball!!! where I think mizzou will show that they are one of the top two teams in the league!!! It makes me think that they get hosed on the road because they are new to the league!!! In the last month, they win at home by 20+, with no games in doubt except Florida (who is not as good as they were a month+ ago) and lose by 2 on the road!!!.....no one else in the country is playing that well right now........a 7 or 10 would not be bad....would not want to play them in the NCAA tourn!!!!

there was a nice thread on the guitar players.....like to see if any harp players around......I love the daredevils(all the harp stuff) and old rolling stones!!! the under assistant west coast promo man, sweet virginia, the spider and the fly to name a few!!! all hohner harps, mostly special 20's....do have a crossover and a ms blues....love the crossover!!!

I don't think the SEC is as weak as many think!!!! and I really have a problem with joe lunardi's thinkin of boise state in and kentucky out after yesterday!!! kentucky loses at arkansas...who does boise state play week in and week out??? put thoses two on a neutral floor and kentucky wins by double digits!!!!

mizzou is so much better when Pressey does not shoot the ball!!! when bell takes it to the hole, they are hard to beat, wherever they play!!! South Carolina shot lights out first half, some by bankin, some by luck,...good win for the tigers!!! I would not want to play them in the tourn no matter what seed they get.....the way they have been competing on the road, I still think they will be tough to beat. I also expect them to have a very good SEC tournament!!!

agree quilll, that and the rims look different on the road for some reason!!! .....on another note, turned on the ark-georgia game last nite and the FIRST thing I see is a georgia player get a rebound, raped by 2 ark players, then a flagrant foul on the georgia player.....georgia loses the ball, ark gets 2 shots and the ball.......it was criminal!!!!....again!!!!!....so georgia loses at ark 62-60!!!

It was good to see pressey not shoot much vs florida!!! It was also good to see them go out and win the ball game with the officials having nothing to do with it, unlike at arkansas!!! The only home court advantage you saw last nite was the comfort and confidence of playing in columbia!!! Mizzou played great defense and I think arkansas will struggle when they come to columbia!!!.....as far as SLU, on a neutral floor, Mizzou will present match up problems......strength, depth, to name a couple!!!

agree again with Al and Quill......mizzou got the ball into oriaki posted up 2x in a row and he make it look easy.....then they went away from it.....I did not like that.......here's to hopin things go their way with Florida!!!!

Missouri did everything they needed to do to win this game!!! they get down by 7 latter part of the game and battle back to take the lead by 4 under a minute. They shoot the 2nd of a doube bonus with less than a minute left and make a play by getting a rebound.....only to get shoved from behind and called for a travel instead of going to the line to extend lead to 6!!! 11 for arkansas comes down the floor and makes a move, taking 4 steps, the ball goes in and not only do the officials count the basket, they give him +1 and the guy wasn't even fouled.....finally, the official at the scorers table starts the clock when he/she should not so instead of mizzou getting the ball at half court with 5.3, anderson instructs a player to get on pressey in the backcourt.....like a free timeout....ALL THIS UNDER A MINUTE!!!! ...and how about Oriaki's rebound in the 2nd half where he gets fouled, and fouled, and then finally fouled again!!!! .....Pressey did play poorly, but under a minute, he was solid, and beat up,.......Basically 4 different incidents that went against mizzou in the last minute!!! I have hated and loved college basketball the last few years.....hateful cause of things like that homer officiating.....my theory is the officials are scared to walk out of the arena because they must fear they will get attacked by some crazy fans!!!! If mizzou makes the tournament, they should be tough because they play well at neutral sites and are now playing well on the road.....which is difficult .....obviously......!!!

SAD!!! A father and his two sons.....Brian,those guys you went to get were pretty dam lucky!!!
